Get ready, Geelong — Pride Basketball is coming to town! 💜

We’re incredibly excited to officially welcome you to the Geelong Spectres Pride Basketball community — a space built on connection, inclusion, community, and pride.

Whether you’re a seasoned player, shooting hoops for the very first time, or simply looking to meet amazing people in a welcoming environment, Geelong Spectres is for you. Come along, have some fun, get active, and be part of something special.

We’re proud that our very first community event is being delivered as a joint initiative between Spectres Australia - Pride Basketball Association, Melbourne Spectres Basketball Club, and Melbourne United Basketball Club — bringing together organisations passionate about inclusive sport, community connection, and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome.

There’s something special about this crew 🏀💖

Every session is more than just basketball — it’s a space to show up as you are, connect, and be part of something bigger. From first-timers to regulars, everyone brings their own energy, and together it creates a community that lifts each other up on and off the court.

Plenty of laughs, a bit of chaos, lots of support — and a whole lot of q***r joy woven through it all.
