🧡🏀 ROUND 5 WIN! Spectres Orange 43–36 Bandits! 🏳️‍🌈🔥

WHAT A PERFORMANCE, ORANGE! We came out firing, attacked the paint with purpose, drew plenty of fouls and fought for each other from the opening tip to the final buzzer. 💪🧡

This was a true team effort—full of energy, determination and Pride spirit! 🏳️‍🌈🔥 We took control early, held our nerve and secured a fantastic win together.

👏 Special shoutout to Bateman for the valuable session after the game—we’ll be taking those lessons into the next round!

Another W in the books! Let’s celebrate this one, keep the momentum rolling and bring even more energy next round! 🏀🔥

A huge night of teamwork, hustle, passing, defence and plenty of hoops, with everyone getting involved and working together across the court. The Unicorns brought the energy and came away with a 49–36 victory! 💪🏀

That winning feeling hits different when the whole team earns it together. ❤️🦄

🌈🏀 TEAM RAINBOW STARTS WITH A WIN!

What a way to kick off the summer season! Team Rainbow takes Round 1, 41–35 after a fantastic whole-team performance.

Our returning players Connor, Kim and Kirstie brought the defence, rebounds, hustle and experience, while our newest Rainbow teammates Pen, Evan and fill-in Steve made an immediate impact on court. 💪

Too many great performances to pick just one MVP, so tonight it goes to Pen, Evan & Steve — an incredible first official outing with Rainbow! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great basketball, great team vibes and the Pride colours flying proudly. 🏳️‍🌈

🏀 TEAM GREEN STARTS SUMMER WITH A WIN! 🏳️‍🌈💚

What a way to kick off the summer season! Melbourne Spectres Team Green came out firing in Round 1, putting together an awesome 46–16 victory.

More important than the scoreboard were the great team vibes, energy and support for each other from start to finish. This is what Spectres basketball is all about — playing together, having fun and proudly flying the Pride colours every time we take the court. 🌈

We couldn’t be prouder of Team Green. An amazing start to the season — bring on Round 2! 💚🏀

🌈🥈 SILVER FOR TEAM RAINBOW! 🥈🌈

A huge congratulations to our Melbourne Spectres Team Rainbow, finishing second and taking home the silver after a sensational winter season! 🏀💜

What a season it’s been — great basketball, plenty of laughs, big moments and, most importantly, heaps of awesome team vibes both on and off the court.

You’ve played for each other, supported each other and brought that unmistakable Spectres energy every week. Making it all the way through and finishing with silver is something the whole team should be incredibly proud of. 🥈

A fantastic result to cap off a brilliant winter season.

💜🏀 SO PROUD OF OUR WOMEN’S TEAM PURPLE! 🏀💜

What a season! Finishing second and making it all the way to the Grand Final is an incredible achievement.

Tonight may not have ended with the result you hoped for, but a final score doesn’t capture the friendships, determination, laughs and memories created along the way. We hope you walk away incredibly proud of what you achieved together. 💜

A special part of Team Purple’s story is that they have proudly represented the Melbourne Spectres as an LGBTQ+ allies team. Over the years, you’ve brought amazing energy to the court, proudly worn the Spectres colours and stood alongside our community. 🌈

A huge shout-out to captain Danielle, a true team leader whose commitment, encouragement and heart have helped make Team Purple what it is. Thank you for everything you’ve brought to the team and our club. 💜

As Team Purple takes a break from the upcoming summer season, we want to say a massive THANK YOU. We hope it’s only a break and that we’ll see those Purple jerseys flying the Spectres banner again soon.

Congratulations on a fantastic season, Team Purple. Your Spectres family is incredibly proud of you! 💜🌈🏀
