2026 Open Women's Div 2 Champions!!!!

The team finished the division games on top of the ladder with an impressive 5 wins/ 1 loss.

Unfortunately due to some not so nice rain coming through fast and strong, there was no choice but to call off the Grand finals.

We sincerely hope that all the Melbourne Softball team had a great experience representing the association.

We also hope that all other members of the Melbourne Softball community had a great tournament also.

Thank you again to Softball Albury Wodonga for hosting the event.

Wishing the very best of luck to our teams this Sunday in the grand final Melbourne Softball Association .

Wingers Blue will be first taking on Red Devils Fire at 12.30 in what is sure to be an exciting game to decide the A Reserve premiers.

Wingers Red then continue the challenge to play for back to back A Grade premierships against Bruisers at 2.30.
Whilst alot of the Bruisers ladies are past Wingers(and still Wingers at heart), the prospect of a back to back win for the present Wingers team is very exciting.

Please join me in wishing both Wingers teams all the very best for a couple of great games of Softball this Sunday.
If you are free, we would LOVE to see you all come down and cheer us on. ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙

And with that, we see out the close of another great season of softball at Beautiful Fawker Park.
Melbourne put on a great show of weather today, despite the icy wind, and we saw 3 well played Grand Finals.
