Anyway.... a bit of focus on side expansion through the ribs can be a good thing to practise, hands on side of ribs can help with a bit of bio feedback.

Good for controlling pressure through your middle, and helpful for the pelvic floor

Getting side expansion through the ribs is important for maximising lung capacity, engaging the core, and improving posture.

We can sometimes feel a bit "tight" through the side body.

It can be helpful to do some release work - side lying with a soft ball or tennis ball followed by some deep breathing focusing on directing the breath to the sides to create lateral expansion.

Have you overindulged this holiday.... I know I have, and I bloody love it ❤️ 🥂🍫🍻

Jumping back into your normal movement routines and eating habits is a good idea.

Sometimes, people have a tendency to think bu**er it. I've had a few big days overindulging. Why stop now? I'll just carry on and start fresh next month...

OR

Go into a hardcore caloric deficit and a strict OTT exercise regime that really is prob not necessary.
