Willetton Junior Football Club AFL and AFLW Junior & Youth Football. It's all about kids development. Pre-primary to Year 12 The Willetton Junior Football Club was founded in 1971.

The new suburb of Willetton and “Burrendah” was growing steadily at this time and many boys who lived in the Willetton area were finding it difficult getting a game with Riverton Junior Football Club, due to the excess of numbers. The Club fielded two teams, Under 9’s and Under 11’s in the first year of competition in the East Fremantle Junior Council. The number of teams representing the Club gr

ew quite rapidly as the population of Willetton increased and as subdivision of all land west of Vahland Avenue neared finalization. Team numbers went from 7 teams in 1979, 12 in 1980 and 1981 to a peak of 14 teams in 1982 and 1984. The number of teams reduced slightly throughout the balance of the 1980’s and in the 1990’s. The Club has been successful over the years in providing a high quality environment for children to develop their football skills. Many former players of the Club have gone onto play at both WAFL and AFL clubs. We welcome all Pre-Primary to Year 12 students who would like to try their hand at the greatest game this country has to offer. Current Willetton JFC players in the WAFL and AFL– 2020 season

WA Football Juniors would like to sincerely apologise for the technical difficulties experienced this week, which prevented the presentations from proceeding as originally scheduled. We understand the disappointment this has caused for players, families, clubs, and volunteers who were looking forward to celebrating these achievements, and we appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through these unforeseen issues.
As a result of these changes, winners and runners-up will no longer be presented at the WA Football Juniors Grand Finals this weekend. Instead, we will hold an in-person presentation component to ensure recipients receive the recognition they deserve.
All winners and runners-up will be formally recognised and presented with their awards at the RDC Team of the Year Event, to be held at Noranda Junior Football Club on Wednesday 16 September 2026.
Further details regarding the event, including timings, attendance requirements and recipient information, will be provided to clubs shortly.
Once again, we apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued support of junior football.
