Round 7 π¦
We are officially halfway through the season! With just three more rounds remaining before the school holiday break, itβs hard to believe how quickly the year is flying by.
Our Year 5 and Year 6 Rooβs hit the road on Friday night. The effort, determination and improvement shown by both teams throughout the season continues to be a highlight. The growth in confidence, skills and teamwork is evident each week, and the future is bright for these young Rooβs.
Back at Riverton Reserve, our Year 7 boys continued their strong season with another impressive victory, taking home the chocolates 83 to 31 against Fremantle City Red. The team continues to build momentum and confidence each week, with their hard work at training translating into strong performances on game day.
The game was made even more special as we celebrated 50 games for Archie and Peter. Reaching this milestone is a fantastic achievement and a testament to their commitment, dedication and love of the game. Congratulations boys! π¦π
Sunday saw our Year 3, Year 4 and Year 7/8 Girls all travelling for their fixtures. Our Year 3βs and Year 4βs had an early start, making the trip to Piara Waters for their 8:30am games.
Our 7/8 Girls made the trip up the hill to Roleystone and put together a fantastic team performance, coming away with a 51 to 8 victory. The girls continue to improve each week and should be incredibly proud of their effort, teamwork and determination.
A huge thank you to our wonderful families who continue to step up each week to support our teams. Whether itβs filling in when a coach or team manager is away, helping with game day duties, organising car pools, or simply lending a hand where itβs needed, your support does not go unnoticed.
One of the things that makes our club so special is the genuine care, kindness and community spirit shown by our families. Thank you for creating such a positive environment for our players to learn, grow and enjoy their football journey.
Up the mighty Roos! π¦π
