🔴⚪⚫ RE-SIGNED FOR 2027 | MALCOM TSHUMA
Unfinished business. Same ambition. Bigger plans.
Ashfield FC is delighted to confirm that Malcom Tshuma has re-signed as Head Coach for the 2027 State League season.
Following an impressive inaugural season in his first appointment as a senior Head Coach, Malcom will continue leading the Dynamo as we look to build on the foundations established throughout 2026.
His first season brought stability, belief and a renewed sense of direction to our State League squad. While there were plenty of positives to take from the campaign, there is a strong feeling within the club that we’ve only scratched the surface of what this group can achieve.
There’s unfinished business at Ashfield.
Perhaps the strongest endorsement of Malcom’s leadership has come from the players themselves, with all key players and the vast majority of the 2026 squad already committing to another season under his guidance.
That continuity speaks volumes about the culture being built, the respect Malcom has earned and the belief within the playing group.
Speaking about his reappointment, Malcom said:
“I’m excited to continue leading this club and heading into my second season. We’ve been able to retain all our key players and the vast majority of the squad which is crucial to continuing the work we started this year.
I have an incredible group of players and with the new additions we’ve secured and still targeting, I’m sure we will have another good season ahead. There’s still a long way to go before the season starts but I believe shaping the squad from a place of stability will hold us in good stead.
I would also like to extend my thanks to Phil (club president) for his unwavering support and commitment to improving things on and off the pitch for the club. I look forward to welcoming the boys back for pre season.”
BUILDING FOR 2027
With the core of the squad retained and several exciting new additions already secured, preparations for 2027 are well underway.
The club will be making further coaching and player announcements over the coming weeks, with significant developments both on and off the park as we continue strengthening Ashfield for the future.
The foundations are in place. The belief is growing. The ambition hasn’t changed.
Malcom’s back. The boys are back. And the Dynamo are building. 🔥
