🚗 PARKING AT ASHFIELD RESERVE
Please use the attached map when attending matches, training sessions or events at Ashfield Reserve.
🟢 Green areas: Parking is permitted.
🔴 Red areas: No parking.
🔵 Blue lines: Walking routes to the reserve.
If you are mounting a kerb or creating a new spot no one else noticed while it’s busy. It’s probably either dangerous, not a parking area or more than likely both.
Additional parking is available at Ashfield Station and near Cyril Jackson. Both locations have pedestrian access to the reserve.
Please note that Transperth parking is not free on weekdays. Check the applicable signs and payment requirements before leaving your vehicle.
Being located directly on the train line also means you can park at another station and catch the train to Ashfield. Please check the parking rules and fees at whichever station you use.
🚫 Please do not park in the Ashfield shopping centre or IGA car park.
While there are currently no restrictions legally preventing you from parking there, these bays are intended for customers of the local shops. Using them while attending Ashfield Reserve prevents genuine customers from accessing those businesses.
You may technically be able to park there, but we are expressly asking you not to.
Please follow all street signs, do not park on the residential sides of surrounding streets, avoid corners and intersections, and never block driveways or access points.
If you’re mounting a kerb or creating a new parking spot that somehow nobody else noticed while the area is busy, there’s probably a reason. It is either dangerous, not a legal parking area, or more likely both.
There have been accidents and a number of near misses around the reserve, with illegally parked vehicles contributing to poor visibility and unsafe conditions.
Rangers are active throughout the area and will issue fines for illegal parking.
Most importantly, please be respectful of our residential and commercial neighbours. Ashfield Sports Club is part of this community, and the behaviour of members, visitors and event attendees reflects directly on the club and every organisation using Ashfield Reserve.
A short walk is better than a fine or creating problems for the people who live and work around the reserve.
Thank you for helping us be good neighbours.
