Whether you're a seasoned paddler or just starting out, AKC is the perfect place to explore the beautiful waterways of Swan River and Western Australia.

tch Facilities: Enjoy our great facilities at Garvey Park, Ascot, including club boats, equipment, and boat storage (for a fee). Junior Development: Our friendly coaches offer guidance and opportunities for juniors (18 and under) to excel in sprint, marathon, slalom, and white water paddling. No worries! We offer introductory courses and recreational paddling for all skill levels.

1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
4th Saturday of each month: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Always wanted to try kayaking? You don’t need to be a club member — this course is open to the public and perfect for beginners.

Our June Introductory Kayaking Course is a great chance to get out on the water before winter really sets in ❄️ Learn the basics, build confidence, and enjoy a fun, supportive introduction to kayaking.

✅ Open to non‑members
✅ No experience required
✅ Friendly, qualified instructors
✅ Equipment provided

From our paddlers and officials to the volunteers and supporters on the day — your time, effort and enthusiasm helped make the event a success and a great reflection of our club spirit.
