𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝟯 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲.

A big thank you to all of our MEKA players and families for another fantastic term.

We are proud of the effort, commitment and progress shown across the group. Every session has been another step in each player’s development, and we are grateful for the trust and support our families continue to place in MEKA Football.

Term 3 certificates have now been sent by email, so please check your inbox. If you cannot see yours, have a quick look in your spam or junk folder as well.

We’ll now enjoy a short break before returning for Term 4 from Wednesday, 14 October.

We are also planning an open session before the new term begins, with more details to come soon.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗘𝗞𝗔 𝗱𝗮𝗱𝘀, 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.

Father’s Day has always carried a lot of meaning for me personally.

I have always looked up to my own father and have enormous respect for everything he has taught me. Not just through what he said, but through the example he set, the values he lived by, the sacrifices he made, and the way he supported our family.

As a father myself, I try to carry those lessons forward and be the same kind of role model for my own children. I know I will not always get everything right, but I hope they grow up knowing they were loved, supported, encouraged and taught to become good people.

That is also one of the things I value about our MEKA community. Football is important, but the influence we have on our children goes far beyond the field. The time we give them, the encouragement after a difficult game, the conversations in the car, the lessons about effort, respect, resilience and humility. Those are the moments they will carry with them.

To every dad and father figure who shows up, supports, teaches, encourages and leads by example, thank you.

Term 3 is up and running at MEKA Football Academy!

It has been great to see our young players back on the pitch, building their skills, growing in confidence and enjoying their football.

We are proud to be running at full capacity this term, and it has been fantastic to see the strong interest and support from our growing MEKA community.

MEKA Football Academy is back for Term 3, and we are now taking Expressions of Interest.

Our sessions are designed to help young players build confidence, develop their football skills, improve their technique, and enjoy the game in a positive training environment.
