🏉 HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF THE RATS! 💚💛

Want to make a difference in rugby beyond the sidelines? We’re looking for a few good people to join our Colts coaching and management crew for the 2027 season!

We’re on the hunt for:

📋 1 x Manager – 2nd Colts
📋 1 x Manager – 3rd Colts
🏉 1 x Coach – 3rd Colts

This is your chance to support young talent, share your experience, build great connections and be part of something bigger than rugby.

You don’t have to do it alone — you’ll be joining a club with a proud history, a strong community and a whole lot of Rats spirit!

Think you could be the one? Or know someone who would be perfect?

Get in touch! Send us a DM and help us make 2027 a season to remember. 🐀💚🤍

SHOUT OUT!
We have a number of players arriving in early January ahead of the 2027 rugby season, and we’re on the lookout for accommodation!

We’re looking for:
🏠 Studio apartments
🏠 1-bedroom apartments
🏠 Granny flats
🏠 Any other suitable accommodation options

Players have varying budgets, so we’re keen to hear about anything that may be available.

We’re reaching out to our Rats family and wider community to see if anyone has a property available, knows someone who does, or can help point us in the right direction.

Every little bit helps, and we’d love to make sure our incoming players are settled and ready for the season ahead.
If you have anything available or know of any opportunities, please send us a message!

Something doesn’t smell right on The Hill. Although, that’s probably stating the obvious 👀

After 15 years of dodgy leadership, there's been a mutiny on The Hill.

The women have had enough. The younger generation is revolting (literally). And the old guard are standing fast (standing still is the only thing they do quickly!).

Battle lines are being drawn. Things could get ugly(er).

THE CLASH OF CLANS BEGINS IN 2027.

THREE CLANS. ONE HILL.

Same family. A little more dysfunction.

Stay tuned. Warringah Rats Warringah Rats Junior Rugby Union Warringah Rats Women's Rugby Union

🏉💚 BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING IN 2027! 💛

We have fabulous new coach joining the team, and he's relocating to The Beaches — and he needs a little help getting settled! 🏡

Got some furniture gathering dust, an extra piece you no longer need, or know someone who does? We’d love to hear from you!

🛏️ Double or queen bed + bed frame
🛋️ 2-seater couch
📺 TV cabinet
💻 Desk
☕ Coffee table

If you can help with any of these items, or know someone who can, flick us a message. Second-hand and well-loved is absolutely fine!
Let’s get our new coach set up and feeling at home before the pre-season kicks off.

Rats supporting Rats — that’s what our club is all about! 🐀💚

Thank You, Nick Brown 🙌

On behalf of everyone at Warringah Rugby Club, we want to sincerely thank Nick Brown for his three years as Women's Head Coach (2024 to 2026).

Nick's contribution to the club has been remarkable. He brought professionalism, commitment and care to the role, and he set a standard that lifted the entire Women's program.

🏆The 2025 Women's Premiership stands as the highlight of that work. It reflects the hours Nick put in on the training paddock, the culture he built within the squad, and the belief he instilled in every player.

What the club will remember most is who Nick is, as well as what he achieved. He backed his players, developed them as athletes and as people, and left the Women's program in a stronger position than he found it. Players, staff, volunteers and supporters at Rat Park have all benefited from his leadership.

Nick, thank you for the passion, the time and the heart you poured into the Rats. You'll always be part of the Warringah family, and the door at Rat Park will always be open

We wish you all the very best in your future endeavours. 💚

Thank you, Boyd Killingworth.🙌
After five years coaching at the Rats, Assistant Head Coach Boyd Killingworth is stepping down.
Boyd worked alongside Head Coach Josh Holmes and Mark Gerrard to build the 1st Grade and 1st Colts Coaching Group: a shared vision, an unrelenting standard, and a culture that made the Rats one of the most exciting teams in their respective competitions.
Over three 1st Grade seasons (2024 to 2026), that meant three finals series, two grand final appearances and one premiership.
In 7s, Boyd has been part of five titles since 2024, across Hamilton 7s, Kiama 7s and Sevens By The Sea, including back-to-back titles at Hamilton and at Sevens By The Sea.
His contribution to the Colts program in 2022 and 2023 helped deliver both the Colts Club Championship and the 1st Colts Premiership, a double achieved only once before, in 1999.
That adds up to two premierships across two programs, plus five 7s titles. A stellar effort.🏆
Thank you for everything you've given the program and this club.
Boyd, you will always be part of the Rats family, and you are always welcome at Rat Park. 💚

Stay tuned: the Club will soon announce who joins Josh Holmes and the coaching team for the 2027 season.
Let's go Rats! 🐀💪
