You do not want to miss this- PPNC has a big arvo of fun planned for all of our teams at the Avalon Bowlo πŸŽ‰

We’re celebrating the end of another great season, and we’d love for our 16+ to opens players and their families to join us for the festivities!

Our NetSetGO and Junior Awards Presentation will take place at 2pm at Avalon Bowlo, celebrating the achievements of our younger players.

From 3pm, the celebrations are open to all members and we’d love you to join us for an afternoon of fun, food and festivities!

Finals bring excitement, nerves and a little extra pressure for players and coaches.

As coaches, one of the best things we can give our players this weekend is calm, positive leadership.
πŸ’™ Encourage, don’t discourage. Players will make mistakes. Help them reset and focus on the next ball.
πŸ’™ Stay calm under pressure. Your players will take their cues from you. A calm coach helps create a calm team.
πŸ’™ Keep instructions simple. When nerves kick in, clear and positive messages work best.
πŸ’™ Lead with positive body language. Keep a smile on your face, stay composed and use encouraging gestures. Your players will often mirror the energy you bring to the sideline.
πŸ’™ Manage the moment. If things aren't going to plan, take a breath, regroup and remind your players of what they can control.
πŸ’™ Celebrate effort. A great intercept, strong drive, good sportsmanship or simply refusing to give up deserves recognition.

Most importantly, remember that while everyone wants to win, how we coach matters too.
Be the voice on the sideline that builds confidence, settles nerves and reminds players why they love the game.

Good luck to all our coaches this weekend. Encourage, support and enjoy the finals experience with your team.

What a season for Peninsula! πŸ‘πŸΎ

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to all 7 Peninsula teams who have qualified for the 2026 Preliminary Finals. An incredible achievement and something our whole club can be very proud of.

A special congratulations to our teams that have already booked a spot in the Grand final! Enjoy the moment and be proud of what you have achieved together this season.

We would love to see the sidelines filled with pink and blue, so come down this Saturday and support as many of our teams as you can. Whether it's your own team, a friend's team or another Peninsula team taking the court, every cheer makes a difference!
