Hope everyone enjoyed the week off… although let’s be honest, Saturdays without netball are a little boring 😅

We’re back this weekend with a big day across the courts, including several additional Ironbank games being hosted at Mylor throughout the afternoon:

• 10:30am – U13 Div 3 Ironbank vs Crafers
• 12:00pm – Inters 2 Ironbank vs Heathfield
• 12:00pm – Inters 3 Ironbank vs Heathfield
• 1:45pm – C1 Ironbank vs Aldgate
• 3:30pm – B2 Ironbank vs Piccadilly Gold

Great to see the courts full again and the club buzzing all day long. Good luck to all Mylor teams hitting the courts this weekend.

Congratulations to Poppy for taking out our Jelly Bean Guessing Competition.

Poppy guessed 647 jelly beans, with the actual count coming in at 684 👏

Thanks so much to everyone who had a guess, we loved seeing so many entries and excited little faces at the courts.

It was a wild weather day in the Hills with huge downpours, pockets of sunshine, then heavy rain rolling back through the senior games. Despite the conditions, it was a massive day around the courts and great to welcome the additional Ironbank matches to Mylor as well.

A special mention to our U13 Div 1 side. While the scoreboard was tough against the top team, the girls set themselves a goal of reaching double digits and achieved it, something some thought may have been impossible. A great example of resilience, determination and celebrating the small wins along the way.

Well done to all teams who braved the conditions this weekend.

Round 5 incoming 🖤🤍

A big day at Mylor this Saturday with plenty of action across the courts. Our juniors are split between home and away games, while the seniors return home for a strong afternoon line-up.

We’re also pleased to welcome additional games to Mylor this weekend, with extra matches scheduled across the day:

12PM Inter 4 – IBCG Green vs Uraidla
1:45PM C1 – IBCG vs Aldgate Maroon
3:30PM C2 – IBCG vs Stirling

Bit of everything across the courts on Saturday. Some tight contests, some big team efforts and a few nail-biters that could’ve gone either way. Huge shoutout to our C2 side who went down by just one goal in a thriller, and to our Inters 4, U13 D3 and U11 D3 teams for bringing home the wins.

Our juniors continue to impress every week with the way they compete, encourage each other and grow in confidence.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of the Mylor Netball Club.

From coaches and umpires to team managers, committee members, scorers, canteen legends and everyone in between… thank you for the time, energy and care you pour into our club each week.

Because of you, our players get to pull on the black and white, take the court, build friendships and be part of something special. We appreciate you all season long and through the off season too, because we know just how much work happens behind the scenes before the first whistle even blows. 🖤🤍
