Quarter-finals are here, and the stakes just got higher 👀

All four senior Falcons squads are back in action this weekend with a spot in the next stage of finals on the line:

⚽ Senior Women vs Moe United

⚽ Reserves vs Olympians
⚽ Thirds vs Monash

And before the senior action gets underway, our U15A group have their Grand Final tomorrow! 🏆

𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐑 𝐌𝐄𝐍 | FALCONS 4-2 NYUSC

The boys came out firing, racing to a 3-1 lead inside 21 minutes before the Combine fought back to make it 3-2.

Falcons responded immediately to restore the two-goal cushion and held firm to secure a 4-2 victory and a spot in the quarter-finals.

Next up: defending champions Traralgon Olympians. 👊

𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐑 𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍 | FALCONS 5-1 NYUSC

The reigning league champions produced another strong performance, cruising to a 5-1 win over Newborough-Yallourn United.

After racing to a 3-0 lead, the girls stayed in control after the Combine pulled one back before half-time, adding two more goals to seal the win.

Next up: Moe United in the Browne-Huizer Cup quarter-final.

𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐒 | Falcons 2-1 NYUSC

Our Reserves also got the job done to make it a three-from-three weekend for the senior sides!

The boys dug deep to secure an early lead and looked to be in control of the match leading into half time. After the break, we secured another goal before the Combine found the back of the net with ten to go, however, it was a victory for our boys in the end and we progress to quarter finals.

A huge opening round across the club - three wins, four quarter-final spots with our Thirds returning to play after a bye and plenty of momentum heading into the the upcoming weekend.

Congratulations to our U15A team who dug deep today against EGUFC over on Sale in a 𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝟐-𝟎 𝐰𝐢𝐧 🥳

This secures the team an opportunity on the big dance floor come grand final day in a couple of next week!

With several kids from this team having debuted in season 2025/2026, this team has been one to watch all year and continues to show what dedication and talent looks like 🦅

This is where it gets real. 👀🦅

Our Falcons head to Newborough this weekend for the opening round of finals, taking on Newborough-Yallourn SC across the senior grades.

We’ve already seen plenty of action between these sides this season, with the Senior Men producing a hard-fought contest in their most recent meeting. Our Senior Women have also had a strong season against Newborough-Yallourn, setting up another exciting finals clash. 🔥

But finals are a different ball game.

The regular season is done. The ladder means nothing. It’s all about who turns up when it matters most.

No tomorrow. No second chances. Just finals.

BECOME A REFEREE!

Football Victoria is hosting a Junior Match Official Course in Traralgon for new referees!

🗓️ Monday 12 October
🕕 6:00pm - 9:00pm
📍 Traralgon City Soccer Club

Refereeing is a great way to stay involved in football, earn some extra income, and contribute to the game locally.

We're particularly encouraging players who may be nearing the end of their playing days to consider taking up refereeing. The knowledge, experience and understanding you've built through playing can make for a smooth transition and help strengthen the game for everyone.

Whether you're a player, coach, volunteer, parent or supporter, this session is a great opportunity to learn more about becoming a referee.
