The rumours are true. Saturday night has officially been given the green light. 🟢🏁

With many of our volunteers heading to Sleeman on Sunday, this weekend’s club racing will now take place on Saturday night.

🚨 GATE CABLE UPDATE 🚨

The replacement cables were due yesterday.

Current location? Somewhere between here and Redbank Plains… we think. 🤷‍♀️

Tonight’s gate session is still ON and we’ll be running rolling starts until 7pm.

If the cables happen to arrive before then, great. If not, we’ll keep the wheels turning and get some laps in regardless.

If anyone spots a pair of French gate cables wandering around South East Queensland send them our way. 😂

A familiar face around Hinterland BMX Club, Sabina has spent countless hours on our track while based on the Sunshine Coast.

To see someone who has been part of our BMX community standing on top of a UCI World Cup podium is something pretty special, and a moment we’re proud to celebrate.

📦 Club Racing Postponed 📦

Unfortunately we’ll need to postpone club racing again this weekend.

Our replacement gate cables are still somewhere between France and the Sunshine Coast and appear to have added a few extra stops to the journey.

Current itinerary:

🥐 Breakfast in Paris
🗼 Eiffel Tower photo stop
💃 Night out at the Moulin Rouge
✈️ Queensland… eventually

Current status:

📦 Waiting for parcel delivery
🥖 Waiting for our gate cables to finish their European holiday

We know everyone is keen to get back behind the gates and we appreciate your patience while we wait for the cables to finally arrive.

Hopefully the next update is that they’ve finished sightseeing and are on their way to the track.
