Our very own Benji, Charlie and Shaun from Skeletones have entered into the Triple M Brisbane 104.5 Rock Dad competition and are in the Grand Final! They would love your support tomorrow morning- it's a text in voting system.

If they win, they will play live at Triple M studios this Friday Grand Final and win that they play at River Fire in front of half million people Please tune in from 7am tomorrow morning!

Our presentation day is the 13th Sept 9-11am. Club plaques, awards and photos will be handed out as well as the Best and Fairest for the 13s teams. BYO chair/ picnic mat- we will set up on the oval weather permitting. Canteen will be open, free sausage sizzle and jumping castle. Go Lions! 🦁

🏉 WANT TO COACH AFL IN 2027? EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ARE OPEN! 🏉

Whether you're an experienced coach or someone who has always thought about giving it a go, we want to hear from you! The Glasshouse Hinterland Lions are officially calling for Expressions of Interest for all age groups for the 2027 season.
You don’t need years of coaching experience to get started, just a passion for the game and a desire to support our players.

Why coach with the Lions?
• Full support, guidance, and resources provided by the club
• Great community atmosphere and continuous learning
• A rewarding way to give back to the sport and lead the next generation

Requirements:
• Blue Card(If you don't have one, don't worry—we can assist you with the application process!)

2. The age group you are interested in coaching

And that’s a wrap! Our 2026 junior season is done for the year! We are so incredibly proud of our kids and the effort they have shown throughout the season. For some, they had never played a game of AFL, some played in a new field position and others stepped into leadership positions. We faced challenging opponents, tough games, less than ideal weather and freezing mornings. We also saw milestone games, skill growth, team unity and friendships form. Thank you for trusting us to navigate this season for your kids- it’s been a big year! And as always, Thank you for supporting us at Glasshouse Hinterland Lions junior AFL Club.
To celebrate the kids, we will be hosting our annual presentation day on September 13th from 9.30am-11.30am. An invitation will be sent to your group chats in the next week with more information.

Hey everyone, we desperately need your help!
We’ve been given an incredible opportunity to host 4 finals games this Sunday (16th) and next Sunday(23rd) which is a game-changer for our club's finances. Days like these ones fund things like facility upgrades, equipment purchases, guernseys, team shirts, photos ect.
But to be completely honest: we cannot pull this off without you.
We are pleading with our amazing community to step up. We are stretched to the limit and desperately need extra hands on deck.
Even if you can give us just 30 minutes, it will make a massive difference! We urgently need help with: BBQ, Canteen, Ground Marshalls, goal umpires, Set up/ Pack down, First Aid
Please, if you love this club and can spare even a tiny slice of your Sunday, reply below or message. We truly need our community to rally together for this one! 💪 🦁

We are looking for a food truck to attend our Friday night footy this coming Friday! Our u13s girls play at 6 and our seniors play at 7.30. We will have the bar open! We would love a great food option for our community. Location is tunnel ridge rd, Landsborough.
