Another Saturday, another chance for the Flames to hit the court and do what we do best.

After a huge Round 9, including our Fireflies securing their first win of the season, we're looking forward to another day of netball, laughs, teamwork and hopefully a few more W's.

🏉🔥 ROUND 16 FOOTY TIPPING IS OPEN! 🔥🏉

Well... State of Origin Game II happened.

Some teams will be flying high after their stars returned full of confidence. 😎

Some teams will be missing players, managing sore bodies, suspensions, bruised egos, broken dreams, and whatever else Origin managed to leave behind. 🤕💀

Which means Round 16 is shaping up to be one of those rounds where:
✅ the experts get it wrong
✅ the ladder gets turned upside down
✅ someone who forgot to update their tips somehow scores a perfect round

🔥 ROUND 9 RESULTS 🔥

Another Sunday, another chapter in the Macarthur Flames saga. Here's how the teams went down:

💙 **Flames 01** defeated LLCC **48-38**

What a game.

After trailing at quarter time, the team dug deep, found another gear, and stormed home to take the win by 10. Massive effort from everyone on court, with plenty of laughs, great teamwork and some seriously classy netball. It was one of those games that reminded us why we love this sport so much.

💙 **Flames 02** fell to Bluejays **23-46**

The scoreboard might not have gone our way, but the vibes were elite.

There were laughs, there was effort, there was some genuinely outstanding facial-expression work that should probably qualify as a workout category all on its own. The team kept pushing until the final whistle and never stopped backing each other.

💙 **Flames 03** defeated All Stars **26-17**

This team is really starting to cook. 🔥

Week by week they're finding their rhythm, building confidence and playing some fantastic netball. The improvement has been huge and it's showing on court. Plenty of laughs, great camaraderie and a well-earned win to cap off a strong performance.

After weeks of learning, growing, having fun and building confidence, our youngest Flames recorded their **first win of the season!** 🏐🔥

The smiles were huge, the excitement was contagious and we could not be prouder. Every player gave it their all and showed exactly what being a Flame is all about.

Congratulations Fireflies — we knew that first win was coming, and we can't wait to see what you achieve next! 💙

At this point we're less a tipping competition and more a historical archive. 💀

🚨 THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN 🚨

There's a new sheriff in town.
J.hasinger has absolutely slithered into 1st place all alone with a filthy 7/8 round, missing perfection by just one game.

Unfortunately, that one game involved looking at Parramatta vs the Bulldogs and thinking:

"Yeah nah, the Eels have got this."
Narrator: The Eels did not, in fact, have this.

Still, when you're pulling 7 from 8, we'll allow one moment of temporary football delusion.

The leaderboard has been shaken.
The crown has changed hands.
The group chat is in shambles.

And ChuPapi is somewhere staring at the ladder wondering where it all went wrong.

👑✨The throne belongs to J.hasinger. For now.

🥈 chicken03 continues to cling to 2nd place like it's the monkey bars in Year 4 and someone just yelled "last one on is a rotten egg."

As the ancient playground wisdom goes: First the worst. Second the best.

🏉 Round 13 Footy Tipping Results 🏉

At this point we're not posting results, we're conducting historical research.

Welcome to Round 13, brought to you several rounds later and mere hours before State of Origin Game 2. Timing is a social construct anyway.

👀 ChuPapi, mate... you might want to check your rear-view mirror.

chicken03 and J.hasinger both dropped another absolute clanger, tightening the leaderboard and closing the gap at the top to just ONE POINT.

One.

Single.

Lonely.

Point.

The pressure is building and the top spot is starting to look less like a throne and more like a folding chair.

🎭 Meanwhile, Nanny52 quietly wandered into the round, slammed down a JOKER, collected a tasty 8-point jump, and launched themselves into the front half of the leaderboard.

🏉 Round 12 Footy Tipping Results 🏉

Yes, yes. We know.

Before anyone says it... Round 12 was approximately three weeks ago.

In our defence, there was a small matter of State of Origin Game 1, where the Blues got the win 💙, and somehow between celebrating that and preparing for Game 2 tonight, these results have been sitting in the "we'll do it tomorrow" basket.

Anyway, cast your minds back to the ancient times of Round 12...

We still don't know whether to compliment or worry about ChuPapi, who somehow managed to hold onto 1st place despite producing a relative shocker and securing just 2 points for the round. That's either elite competition management or a sign that nobody else wanted top spot either.

Meanwhile, Ca55ie, Woody The Garbo, and chicken03 absolutely got around Round 12, securing 5 points from a possible 6 and launching themselves into a four-way tie for 2nd place alongside J.hasinger.

The good news is we've finally posted the results.

The bad news is by the time you're reading this, we've already played three more rounds and Origin Game 2 is about to start.

We'll try to be quicker next time.

🏐 Training Cancelled Tonight 🏐

Due to a number of players and coaches being unwell, we've made the decision to cancel all Macarthur Flames training sessions tonight, including both our Fireflies and Senior teams.

The fact that this has happened to fall on State of Origin night is, of course, purely coincidental... we're sure. 😉

Truth be told, there probably aren't too many people disappointed about swapping a cold night on the netball court for a warm spot on the couch and a bit of footy.

Stay warm, look after yourselves, and we'll see everyone back at training next week.

🔥💙 FIREFLIES FIRST WIN ALERT! 💙🔥

THEY DID IT. 🥹🙌

After weeks of learning, growing, passing, defending, cheering and occasionally being distracted by things significantly more interesting than netball, our Macarthur Flames Fireflies have officially recorded their first win of the season!

✨ Fireflies 2 – Opponents 0 ✨

The scoreboard says 2–0, but the real win was seeing every player giving it their all, backing each other up and having an absolute blast out on court.

From the first whistle to the final siren, the Fireflies showed exactly what this team is all about:

🔥 Teamwork
🔥 Encouragement
🔥 Determination
🔥 Big smiles and even bigger celebrations

And can we talk about the post-match energy? The excitement levels were somewhere between “we won a netball game” and “we’ve just won the World Cup.” 😂🏆

We are incredibly proud of every single Firefly. Watching this team grow in confidence each week has been amazing, and today was a well-earned reward for all their hard work.
