Macarthur Basketball is aware of the incident that occurred on Saturday 16 May at Bathurst Indoor Sports Stadium during the Youth League fixture against Bathurst Goldminers.

The association is currently working closely with Basketball NSW as part of their formal investigation into the matter. It would be inappropriate to provide further comment until this process has been completed. All parties involved will be afforded the opportunity to be heard.

Macarthur Basketball takes this matter seriously and remains committed to upholding the highest standards of behaviour across all of our players, coaches, officials, and supporters.

We strongly support a safe and respectful environment at all basketball venues. There is no place in our game for behaviour that undermines these values.

We will continue to cooperate fully with Basketball NSW and will respect the integrity of the process as it unfolds.

We thank our members and the broader basketball community for their patience and for continuing to uphold the values of respect, sportsmanship, and fair play.
