🏁 National Volunteer Week 🏁
In the middle of National Volunteer Week, we at Burns Racing want to take a moment to recognise and thank the incredible volunteers who are the heartbeat of speedway.
What happens on the track is only possible because of the countless hours put in behind the scenes — before, during, and after every single event.
From complex improvements, track preparation, to cleaning and maintenance. From the ticket sales, canteen teams, administration, to the control tower, committee members and organisers. To the infield officials, fire crew, pit box crews, control tower, push car drivers, pit crews and flaggies — and everything in between…
You set up, pack down, keep things safe, keep things running, and keep our sport alive.
And that’s just naming a few of the many roles taken on by volunteers — there are so many, many, MANY more that often go unseen.
💛 Quite simply, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love without you. We see you. We acknowledge you. We appreciate you. 🥰
Your passion, commitment and tireless efforts make speedway what it is — a true community.
