This September, our team is taking on the challenge of running, walking, or riding 72km to help fund research, awareness and support for men affected by prostate cancer 😊

Prostate Cancer is Australia's leading cause of cancer, with 79 men diagnosed every day. Together we can ensure these men are supported for the long run πŸ’™

If you’d like to support our team, you can donate by searching β€œMoving Beyond Cancer” on The Long Run website πŸ’ͺ

We’ve also got a leaderboard tally on our whiteboard in the waiting room, so you can keep track of our progress and cheer us on! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

We are honoured to have been invited to present our β€œLet’s Talk Falls” campaign at Box Hill RSL this October as part of the Whitehorse Seniors Festival, organised by the Prostate Cancer Support Group πŸ’™

We know so many of you thoroughly enjoyed our β€œLet’s Talk Falls” session when we hosted it at our clinic earlier this year, and we loved hearing how many valuable messages and practical strategies you took away from the session.

πŸ‘€ Spot Jade and one of our clients Tony, putting some balance training into practice!

If you weren’t able to join us at the clinic, we’d love to see you at this upcoming session!

A major new economic analysis by Exercise & Sports Science Australia () and Deloitte Access Economics has examined the three-year health and economic impact of Exercise Physiology across six health condition groups nationally.

In particular, for people with cancer the benefits and economic returns were compelling.

The evidence is clear: Exercise Physiology is not simply an addition to cancer care. It is an investment that can deliver meaningful health and economic benefits.

On Friday night, we hosted a Conference to Clinic evening, where Dale shared key learnings and insights from the recent ISEO and Breast Cancer Trials conferences πŸ’—

It was a great opportunity to share new findings and hear about the latest work happening in the world of exercise oncology research.

We loved bringing our community together to learn, connect and continue translating research into practice.

Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Thank you to the organisers of for inviting Dale to sit on the expert panel for Moving for the Body and Mind for Prostate Cancer on Thursday afternoon.

Our team at Moving Beyond Cancer also loved putting participants through their paces with impact, strength and balance training; all important components of exercise that can help counteract the side effects of prostate cancer treatment.

The session demonstrated another benefit of exercise that we sometimes underestimate: the power of exercising together. There were plenty of smiles and laughs in the room, and it was a great reminder that exercise is just as valuable for the mind as it is for the body.

A fantastic session and it was such a privilege to be part of it πŸ’™
