Thought for the week and something I’ve been pondering many years!
Ask a player what their weak hand is… and they’ll answer straight away. 👋🏀
Now ask them what their weak foot is… and most players, and their parents, will have no idea what you’re talking about.
Coaches constantly tell young athletes to work on their weak hand, yet you almost never (I never have) hear coaches talk about training the weak foot - unless you’re talking football!
In basketball, your feet create everything.
In my opinion, your weak foot is just as important, if not more important than your weak hand.

Players who competed with and against the GOAT, Michael Jordan, always said he had no weaknesses. Mastering his weak hand AND his weak foot, more importantly was what seperate him.
The details matter. That’s where great players separate themselves.
