It been a big 2 weeks in Aussie Tennis.

Congratulations to Dylan Alcott for becoming Australian of the Year and making the final of the Quad Wheelchair. And what a year to have Aussie’s in the mixed doubles final, an all Aussie affair in the mens doubles final and Ash Barty in the Women’s Final. Amazing Achievements. Go Aussies!

Hi Everyone,

We are coming to the end of 2021, who would have thought we would go back to back challenging years? We hope our tennis family now have a chance to spend some quality time with their family & friends over the Christmas and New Year break.

Tip of the Month:-

We all know as tennis players we need to get the correct grip when playing each shot.
Forehand Groundstroke - Semi Western grip is the most suitable grip for all levels of players. This helps keep the racquet face closed to then be able to create the top spin on the ball.

As everyone knows Victoria has gone into a Stage 4 lockdown from Friday 11.59pm until Wednesday 17th Feb 11.59pm. During this time tennis lessons will be cancelled. Everyone please stay safe during this time. We look forward to seeing you all on the courts from Thursday 18th Feb.
