Be Super Specific! I have seen some amazing actors work on film sets - and that's a whole other discussion. Ive seen them be extremely specific - every single detail: a finger print , a scratch on a desk, a person's body- what specific part of their body arouses you? What part of your room or your house do you miss ? We are very specific in life - next time your back goes out watch how specific the pain is. Specific choices ground you@and they feed you .

There's more going on for the character than just what's in the scene! Add those layers - are they happy in life, are they in love, are they settling, are they physically ok? These choices must be supported by the script. Dom't just think about them - create them- they will@

Every film set, every theatre production will hav that one person that does your head in . Don't engage - it's not a long term contract. Remember why you"re there. Focus on your work don't get caught up in the politics,
You're not there for that .

I always talk about this - many actors don't do this as a skill- learn to personalise everything as an actor - the space , the props , the people , the lines! These things don't "just happen !" You as a skilled actor make them happen !
