Emerald Hill Cricket Club St Kilda The official page of the Emerald Hill Cricket Club of St Kilda. EHCC is a young club but already boasts a proud history.

EHCC was formed in 1991 and soon found a spiritual home at the St Kilda Bowls Club, where it is one of their four sporting sections (alongside lawn bowls, darts and petanque). The name Emerald Hill was chosen for two reasons: for one, many of the foundation players lived in South Melbourne, the part of Melbourne formerly known as Emerald Hill; secondly, it was a nod to the first suburban cricket club in Melbourne, the Emerald Hill Cricket Club, which had lain dormant since 1865. The Dragons have played in several leagues around Melbourne, from the Southern District & Churches Cricket League, to the South Eastern Cricket Association, and now the Mercantile Cricket Association. Over the three decade history of the club, across various grades, the Dragons have won 15 premierships and finished runners up a further 10 times.
