Our clubs were given hope. Now they need action.

The Mooroolbark Football Club and Mooroolbark Cricket Club along with our community have waited long enough for the modern pavilion they deserve.

The current facilities are outdated, overcrowded, and no longer fit the needs of a growing community.

This isn’t just about buildings, it’s about supporting grassroots sport, women’s participation, and creating a space the whole community can be proud of.

Aaron Violi MP, Grant Hutchinson-Liberal for Croydon and I will continue to be fierce advocates to ensure the new pavilion is delivered.

It’s time to fund it now!

REMINDER: MOOROOLBARK CRICKET CLUB AGM ON JUNE 15 (2 WEEKS TIME)

As mentioned on our previous announcement on 11th of May, our club is holding it’s AGM on June 15, 2026, @ 7:30pm at Mooroolbark Heights Reserve. As outlined, as per the club constitution, ALL club positions are declared vacant and appointed on the night. For anyone wishing to nominate for a position, please let us know via text or email ([email protected]) and a Nomination form will be sent to you. These nominations must be received back by the club prior to June 8th, 2026.

A great opportunity to hear how the club is performing on and off the field, as well as finding out how you can help us continue to grow and succeed. A club is only as strong as its volunteers so we are seeking passionate individuals to fill a variety of roles. All committee positions are declared vacant and up for nomination, plus we have a bunch of smaller roles that also need filling. If you are interested in helping in Season 2026/27, please reach out and let us know.

CAPTAINS ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SEASON 2026/27 💪💙🩵

It is with great pleasure that we can announce the Skippers for our High-Performance program at Mooroolbark Cricket Club for Season 2026/27.

Men’s 1st XI: JUDDY PERKINS
Fresh off a huge season, leading the 1’s to victory in the Bill Wilkins Cup, Juddy is ready to take things up a notch, aiming for nothing less than a premiership in the Lindsay Trollope Shield this season.

Women’s 1st XI: POLKS (aka BRIONY POLKINGHORNE)
An unbelievable leader, Polks is hungrier than ever to hold the premiership cup aloft yet again in 2026/27. One thing you can count on, is that Polks will have our ladies group firing this year, with the brilliant skipper leading from the front.

Men’s 2nd XI: WAYNE ROSS
Still stinging from an early finals exit last season, Wayne has a fire in his belly and cannot wait to lead his group back into finals action for Season 2026/27. A highly talented group awaits and Wayne is just the man to lead them to finals glory.

Men’s 3rd XI: STEVE HALL
Cool as a cucumber, but don’t be fooled by his smile and calm demeanor. Hally is a competitive beast, and smart as a whip – not to mention an extremely talented cricketer. Knowing what it takes to lead teams deep into March, Hally is the perfect skipper to mentor our young players and show them what it takes to win flags.

Our Ops team are accepting nominations from anyone wishing to be considered for Captaincy of our Men’s 4’s, 5’s and 6’s and our Ladies 2’s. Please reach out to the team at [email protected] by end of June, 2026 to express your interest.
