Together with 99 Bikes, we're supercharging the movement to get kids back on bikes 🤝

We're excited to partner with 99 Bikes over the next two years to expand our bike education program, AusBike, right across Australia.

AusCycling is proud to be teaming up with 99 Bikes to bring AusBike to more Australian schools, helping more kids discover the freedom and joy of riding 💙 🚲 🎉

The partnership will help deliver almost 200 AusBike incursion days into schools over the next two years, giving more than 15,000 additional children the opportunity to learn essential bike skills and experience the freedom and confidence that comes with riding.

🗣️“We’re thrilled to welcome 99 Bikes on board as a partner of AusBike and AusCycling. We have an amazing team around the country teaching kids to ride and enjoy the freedom and independence that comes with it," said Kipp Kaufmann, AusCycling, EGM Clubs and Community.

AusCycling welcomes the launch of Horizon 2 of the Australian Sports Commission’s Play Well strategy today.

The strategy is built around the vision that everyone has a place in sport and the ambition to create safe, welcoming, inclusive and fun experiences.

AusCycling’s Executive General Manager Club and Community Enhancement Kipp Kaufmann said: “The Play Well Strategy provides the overarching philosophy for growing and nurturing cycling participation through to performance in Australia. From a participation perspective, this strategy is the participation blueprint for tackling these, and many other, challenges and opportunities.”
