This weekend the Melbourne Frontyard Ultra, organised by Ultra Series Australia and timed by WASE Timing, took over Studley Park. The 262 participants set off at 4 pm on Saturday on the 6.71 km course, starting a new loop on the hour for 73 hours, until only one was left standing after a stunning 489.83 km of racing. We supported our friends and colleagues at WASE Timing in building the event file template for this unique race format, doing our best to display data in a visual and informative way. Auf wiedersehen, Morris!
This week our friend and colleague Morris returned to Germany after 3.5 months working with us in Australia. During his time here, Morris covered all 6 of the Hertz ProVelo Super League events, driving our timing van across 5 Australian states over 7000+ km, from Adelaide to Brisbane via Tasmania, and supported us at various open water swimming, running and MTB events. In his spare time, he has climbed every mountain he could find on his way.
We are very grateful for Morris' hard work and look forward to seeing him again in Europe in a couple months.
If other young qualified timers would like to join us for a few months during our busy season (January to April), feel free to reach out!

A few sleepless nights last week supporting the amazing racebase.pro team remotely with the timing and scoring of the Cape Epic. Already the third edition under our belts and the 10th year timing events of the Epic Series, time flies when you're having fun.
Looking forward to d**g it all again in a couple of weeks with 4 Islands in Croatia.

The second season of the Hertz ProVelo Super League came to a close in Brisbane last weekend, with Q Tour concluding the 6 round series across 5 Australian states.
Congratulations and thank you to the organisation and to all teams and riders.
A massive thank you also to our 8 staff who have covered the different rounds, and in particular to Morris who has attended every single round and driven Terry all the way to Queensland and back!

Another banger of a weekend at the Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Festival and the Geelong River Run with PB Events.
We are already halfway through the Hertz ProVelo Super League, Morris and Terry the Transit Custom are now heading to the East Coast for the last 3 rounds of the league in NSW and Queensland.
Time flies when you’re having fun!

A hot South Australian weekend to start our summer of cycling, with RADL GRVL hosting the first ever Oceania Cycling Confederation gravel championships, and SA Kick It, first round of the ProVelo Super League.
Well done to all riders, and thank you the organisers and to our amazing staff on the ground. Next stop on the cycling calendar: the Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Festival.

This weekend we had the pleasure of providing timing and scoring at the 40th edition of the Portsea Swim Classic, a challenging event for swimmers, organisers and timers alike!
We had timing systems deployed at the finish, each of the 3 starts, and on the buoys to follow the swimmers' progress along the course.
Congratulations to the Portsea Surf Life Saving Club for successfully running such an amazing event, and to all the finishers. And a big thank you to our 5 dedicated staff.

What a great way to start the new year 😍
On Sunday we were on the wonderful Great Ocean Road for the Tim Gates Classic, hosted by Fairhaven SLSC.
Over 500 runners completed the 5 km or 10 km course on the beach. Well done to all, and thank you to the organising team for having us.

What a great weekend in the Victorian high country providing timing and scoring at the Tour of Bright, with 450 riders competing in 10 different grades, including some prominent names from the WorldTour peloton.
The event was the first outing for our van with its new fitout 🤩
Congratulations to the Alpine Cycling Club for a very successful event, and thank you to our local heros Michal and Jesse for the amazing support.
