Congratulations to our LP Vocal Students ❤️🖤

We are so incredibly proud of our beautiful LP singers who completed their AMEB Singing Exams this week, ranging from Preliminary through to Grade 5.

These students have shown such dedication, commitment and growth throughout their exam preparation. Their hard work, resilience and passion for singing has been wonderful to watch and we could not be prouder of what they have achieved.

Thank you to Caitlyn Schurmann for your time, guidance and support you give the students. We are so grateful for everything you do and the beautiful environment you create for our singers to grow and thrive ❤️🖤

We've been busy planning and preparing and can’t wait to see our competitors up on stage! Keep reading for important info regarding entering MDF in 2026….

💚 2026 EVENT DATES: Thursday 2nd - Sunday 5th of July | Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music

💚 ENTRIES OPEN: 10am Sunday May 24th. Closed when capacity reached.

💚 HOW TO ENTER: Entries for this competition are accepted through Comps Online. Please ensure you have created an account and checked your password before entries open. https://www.comps-online.com.au
A list of sections available to enter in 2026 will be posted soon. Please have a realistic list of your performer’s solos before entering. This is to avoid unnecessary withdrawals and keep our running order tight. It is best to check with your studio/teachers before entering MDF.

💚 2026 GRADUATING SENIORS: If your performer is graduating in 2026, your entries will open 10am Saturday May 23rd and close at 12pm.

💚 SECTION & AWARD SPONSORSHIP: An email will be sent out shortly after entry confirmation regarding Section & Award Sponsorship.

Join American Ballet Theatre, The Misty Copeland Foundation, and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts for a free live simulcast of Misty Copeland’s historic farewell performance with ABT. Don’t miss Misty’s return to the stage in a specially curated program featuring ROMEO AND JULIET, SINATRA SUITE, a new work by Kyle Abraham, and performances by ABT and ABT Studio Company.

Amazing results - a huge congratulations to all the students who participated but also to the teachers, carers, siblings and supporters who made it all possible. It is amazing to see the hard work that has been going on within these walls all year really pay off.
