Congrats to our 2026 Golden Ticket Winner - Gabby Culey!!!! Gabby is one of our graduating Seniors who has been at the studio since she was teeny tiny. Gabby always works hard, is always respectful, and is a beautiful dancer.

Pilates at Contro with our Graduate Senior from a few years ago….Gemma Refalo!!! We love Gemma and we love that she is an amazing Pilates teacher at Contro. The Jazz exam Seniors and some of the Sub Elementary Ballet girls enrolled in Pilates today and absolutely loved it!!! We visit Contro each year and the girls love it.

How awesome to have these opportunities to extend their training.

Did someone say PIZZA PARTY!!!! Our Mackay Show Dancers had a Saturday night practise session and a Pizza Party mid rehearsal……because why not!

Our Mackay Show Dancers have learnt a 20 minute performance along with a Flashmob in approx 4 hours of rehearsals - choreographed, learnt, positioned and polished. This is what memories are made of!!

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Mia Ryan one of our beautiful 2025 graduates.

Mia will always be a much loved member of our Centre Stage family. She was always happy and always ready for fun but was also so caring and admired by so many of the dancers that she worked with as an assistant teacher on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mia graduated from Centre Stage in 2025 after 15 years of dancing and was keen to come in this year on some Thursdays to be in the studio. Mia will be missed more than words can express by her Senior team, the dancers she assisted and by her teachers.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Nik, Leon and Jake..

Mia loved the studio and we loved her❤️.

2025 Flashback!!

Alyssa Battaia completed her 2025 Year 10 Work Experience at Centre Stage and was able to accomplish so much in one week. Alyssa's passion for dance and interest in everything related to dance was obvious during her Work Experience. Miss Cass also loved having Alyssa's company for the week! During the week, Alyssa completed these tasks:

• Stocktaking the studio
• Purchasing new stock and re stocking
• Sorting through exam Syllabus
• Teaching dancers
• Learning exam content and teaching this in class
• Preparing Exam Uniform Orders
• Creating and streamlining the Concert theme for 2025
• Designing the 2025 Senior Shirt
• Music Editing through a professional program
• Creating Assistant Teacher Canva posters
• and so much more - including sourcing the very important Dubai Chocolate.

Unfortunately we will not be offering Work Experience in 2026 due to earlier exams but we are taking on some Duke of Edenborough students who are completing 10 hours of volunteer work. Ella Di-Filippo has been our first volunteer and she is amazing with our little kids!!!

Congratulations to our hard working Senior Gabby Culey who has been chosen to receive the Golden Ticket to Brent St Mackay Workshops!! Gabby has been to the last couple of years of Brent St Worshops and works extremely hard in class!!
