Hi everyone, for those of you I haven't taught or met in the past year, I thought I would post a little bio of my dance history and experience. I trained with the Annette Roselli Dance Academy in Brisbane and while studying the R.A.D. syllabus, I gained my A.R.A.D. at 16 years old. During this time I was also accepted into the Queensland Ballet part-time program from age 11-16 and danced in numerous productions with the Queensland Ballet and Ballet Theatre of Queensland. I then joined the pre-professional program at Tanya Pearson Academy in Sydney under the directorship and guidance of Lucinda Dunn OAM., and while I studied there, I danced numerous lead roles with the Sydney City Youth Ballet. After my pre-professional years, I was offered an Apprenticeship to the Joffrey Ballet in New York City. Personal circumstances brought me home, and I have been teaching dance for 8 years in Sydney, Brisbane, Byron Bay and now Mackay where I teach with the Leisa Payne School of Dance, specialising in classical ballet.
