Racing Victoria’s OTT program is offering a $60 subsidy for this clinic to provide OTT riders with the opportunity to improve the performance of their OTT horses, both competitions and training purposes.

Yarra Valley Eventing are excited to offer an additional working Pupil position to start June/July 2024.

One of our working Pupils is finishing up with us at the end of June to begin the next chapter in their life. We wish Petra all the best.

This position is a full time position with accommodation available. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic / willing to learn / hard working and are looking to improve their eventing skills in both riding and horse management.

Huge Congratulations to our own Emily Ankerfor receiving Equestrian Australia’s coach of the Month. We are very chuffed for Emily to receive this. Cheers to all the hard working EA coaches out there, there is some recognition for all that you do. 🎉🎉🥂🥂

Coach of the Month for January 2022 is... (drum roll)...Congratulations Emily Anker, an EA Level Two Eventing Coach, based in Yellingbo, VIC.

"I have been interested in horses my whole life. I was three when I got my first pony, as my family run a riding school called Wandin Riding Academy. The riding bug bit me early and turned me into the passionate eventer I now am.

It was amazing to grow up with my family running Wandin Park Cic Horse Trials, which celebrated its 33rd year last year. Over the years, Wandin Horse Trials have brought over many international guests, such as Captain Mark Phillips, for course designing etc. Some of these guests also used to stay on for training clinics post-event where I had the opportunity to be exposed to amazing trainers.

So, it's safe to say I have been competing in Eventing my whole life!

I have had some success at CCI5*-L on a number of horses. My most memorable horse to date is Balmoral Cavalier, who allowed me to compete at Rolex, Badminton, Burghley and Luhmulen 5* events..."read more: https://www.equestrian.org.au/news/coach-month-emily-anker
