A lot of people find themselves in this position at some point.

Life feels busy.
Things feel a bit out of sync.
You’re trying, but it’s not quite clicking.

And you’re not alone in that.

After doing this for years, I’ve seen how common this phase is.

Not because people don’t care - rather its because they’re trying to figure it out while juggling everything else.

Work.
Family.
Life.

And when there’s no clear direction, it can feel harder than it needs to be.

That’s where having the right support makes a difference.

Not to add more pressure.

But to simplify things.
To bring you back to what actually works.
And help you stay consistent, even in busy seasons.

If you’ve been feeling like this lately…

You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

If this sounds like you, you already know what to do.

When I say “go back to basics”… this is what that can actually look like in a busy week:

2–3 short sessions, not long, just enough to move your body
Getting out for a walk when you can
Making a few better choices with food, not perfect, just better
Going to bed a little earlier when possible
Doing things that make you happy and alive.

That’s it.

Not a full overhaul.
Not an extreme routine.

Just simple things… done consistently.

Because when life feels busy or a bit out of sync.

You don’t need more pressure.

You need something that still fits.

And this is where most people start to feel better again.

More in control.
More consistent.
More like themselves.

Start there.

After taking a step back, this is the part most people struggle with.

They start focusing on everything they’re not doing.

The sessions they missed.
The days that didn’t go to plan.
The moments where things felt off.

And it quickly turns into…

“I need to get back on track”
“I’m not doing enough”

But that’s not the reality.

Right now, you’re in a phase of figuring things out.

And in that phase, progress looks different.

It’s not about being perfect.
It’s about staying connected to the basics.

Showing up when you can.
Making small choices where possible.
Giving yourself space without completely stopping.

That’s how you move forward, even in uncertain phases.

Yesterday, I wrote about my midlife crisis - did it resonate with you?

If so, then, I'd like to just remind you to take a step back for a second.

Come back to the basics while you figure things out for yourself.

Try to train when you can.
Make better choices where possible.
Do things that make you smile again.

Just remember that whilst you are figuring yourself out, you’re also balancing work, family, and everything else.

You don’t need to start over

You just need to take a moment to breathe and build on what you’re already doing.

Lets do this week!

It’s been a minute since I’ve been to the gym.

But I’m slowly getting back into it now.

Truth be told… I’ve been going through a bit of a midlife crisis.

Midlife? Crisis?

Surely not… I’m only in my mid 40s 😲

But if I’m being honest… it’s exactly what it feels like.

Low energy.
Lacking motivation.
Questioning things I never used to question.
Feeling a bit stuck.

And for someone who helps others stay consistent… that’s been hard to admit.

But here’s what I’ve realised…

This phase doesn’t mean something is wrong with you.

It usually means something needs to change.

Not drastic, extreme change…
Just small shifts back towards taking care of yourself again.

For me, that’s been:

Finally getting back into the gym.
Getting back to my first true love - Cars (mechanical and cosmetic)
Letting go of the pressure to be “perfect”
Allowing myself to stop and take note of what is lighting me up and what doesnt.

Because that’s where things start to turn.

See, this stage of our lives often makes us contemplate our existence. At this stage of our lives, we have already reached half way, and now we are looking at the next half.

So, if you’re in your 40s (or beyond) and feeling a bit off lately, just remember this one thing.

There is nothing wrong with questioning life. Nothing wrong with feeling lost. Nothing wrong with slowing down or even stopping to reset.

It makes you human.

So if you are feeling like you are going through midlife crisis - give yourself the right to stop and reset before taking that next step

A lot of people get to this point...

They’re putting in effort.
Trying to stay consistent.
Doing what they think is right.

But the results just aren’t there.

And after a while, it gets frustrating.

You start questioning yourself.

“Am I doing enough?”
“Am I doing the right things?”
“Why isn’t this working?”

After doing this for years, I can tell you that this is a very common place to be.

Not because people aren’t capable. But because they don’t have the right structure or direction behind what they’re doing.

And when you’re already busy with work, family, and everything else, it’s hard to figure that out on your own.

That’s where having the right guidance makes a difference.

Not to make things harder, but to simplify it.

To give you a clear plan.
Something realistic.
Something that actually works for your life.

Because once that’s in place, everything starts to feel a lot more manageable.

And if you’ve been stuck in that position lately, you don’t have to stay there.

If this sounds like you, you already know what to do.

If your results have stalled, it usually comes down to a few simple things.

Not complicated, rather just overlooked.

Here are the 3 I see most often:

1. No clear structure

You’re training when you can, doing different things each week…

But there’s no plan to build on.

And without structure, it’s hard to make progress.

2. Inconsistency (even if it feels like effort)

You might have a good week… then a flat one.

Life gets busy, routines shift.

And you end up starting over more than you realise.

3. Doing the same thing for too long

Same workouts.
Same intensity.
Same habits.

Your body adapts and progress slows down.

None of this means you’ve failed.

It just means your approach needs adjusting.

Not more effort.

Just better direction.

A bit more structure.
A bit more consistency.
A bit more intention behind what you’re doing.

That’s usually where things start moving again.

If this sounds like you, you already know what to do.
