Horse riding is only one part of being a great horseperson. Our EA Introductory Horse Management course is designed for riders aged 12+ who want to build a deeper understanding of horse care, handling, welfare and management while working towards a nationally recognised Equestrian Australia qualification- assessed by the amazing Megan Joerg.

New for 2026, the program has been expanded to 10 lessons and now includes a dedicated practical assessment preparation lesson. Students will also complete weekly readings from recommended equestrian texts to further develop their knowledge between sessions.

Places are limited, with Monday and Thursday groups commencing in July. Contact us on 0431 985 438 to secure your place.

A huge thank you to Kylee for donating this beautiful prize hamper for the Adult Category of our Working Equitation Competition on the 21st of June. 🐴✨

Our lesson horses work hard, so we make sure they get plenty of opportunities to relax and be pampered too. 💛

Whether it’s massages, stretches, grooming sessions, time out in the paddock or simply a few extra scratches, looking after the wellbeing of our horses is something we take seriously at Hindle Horsemanship.

Here, long-term agistee and HH community member Lucy is giving Pally some post-work TLC. Our lesson horses are an important part of the HH family, and their health, happiness and wellbeing will always be a top priority.

A happy horse is a better teacher, and we’re incredibly proud of the care our horses receive every day. 🐴✨

It’s not often that a riding school becomes much more than a place to ride, but stories like this remind us why we do what we do. ❤️

Watching young people grow in confidence, develop independence, and find a home away from home is one of the greatest privileges of what we do at Hindle Horsemanship. Horses have a remarkable way of teaching resilience, responsibility and self-belief, but it’s the community around them that makes the journey truly special.

We are incredibly grateful to Mark, Jessica and their family for trusting us with both their daughter and their horse. Seeing Jessica settle into life in Australia, build friendships, develop her riding, and thrive both in and out of the saddle has been an absolute pleasure.

The new Hindle Horsemanship float is here. 😍

Our 3-horse angle load float is now available for hire and comes complete with a swing-out tack box.

We’re very excited about it. Alex, perhaps a little too excited. After giving it a test run on last Sunday’s trail ride, we can confirm it tows like a dream and is a fantastic addition to the HH fleet. 🐴🚛✨

It will also allow us to offer transport services for our agistees and horses in training, making life a little easier for our clients.

The only challenge now is getting Alex to stop admiring it long enough to put it to work. 😂

Our upcoming Oakeyvale Trail Rides are filling quickly! 🌿🐴

This Sunday, our morning trail is full, so we now only have afternoon sessions left (2-4pm not 3-5pm)*

Whether you’re joining us on one of our horses or bringing your own, it’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy beautiful scenery, great company and some time in the saddle.

With Alex’s competition season coming to an end, we’re excited to be bringing the Oakeyvale trail rides back.

There’s something pretty special about getting out of the arena for a few hours — good horses, good people, and a relaxed ride through some beautiful country. These rides are always a favourite and a great way to build confidence, enjoy your horse, and just have fun.

Whether you’re a regular trail rider or just looking for something different from lessons and competitions, we’d love to have you join us.

As always, spots are limited and these rides tend to fill quickly.

Five years ago, Hindle Horsemanship was little more than a dream, a handful of horses, and a vision of creating a place where people could learn, grow and enjoy horses in a positive environment.

What makes this milestone so special isn't the arenas, the paddocks, the facilities or even the horses. It's the people.

Over the past five years we've had the privilege of teaching hundreds of riders, welcoming wonderful agistees, watching nervous beginners become confident horsemen and horsewomen, celebrating competition successes, sharing plenty of laughs, and building friendships that extend far beyond the arena fence.

To our clients, team members, families, supporters and friends — thank you. Every lesson taught, every horse cared for, every recommendation, every kind word and every moment spent at Hindle Horsemanship has helped shape the community we have today.

Reaching five years in business is something we're incredibly proud of, and we're looking forward to taking a moment to celebrate not just the business, but the amazing people who have been part of the journey.
