🏆 JACK MCSHANE RECOGNISED AS COMMONWEALTH GAMES AUSTRALIA'S 2025 EMERGING ATHLETE OF THE YEAR 🏆

Huge congratulations to Jack McShane on this outstanding honour!
The 20-year-old from NSW was recognised at Commonwealth Games Australia's President's Dinner in Sydney on Wednesday night, capping off a remarkable 12 months that saw him become the youngest ever winner of the World Bowls Indoor Championships men's singles title in Aberdeen, Scotland.

"Thank you so much to my corner, all my supporters, my parents, my rocks, my partner Chanel, my widest group of friends and family who support me with whatever I intend to do," McShane said during his acceptance speech.

This recognition places Jack among an elite group of young Australian athletes and follows his recent selection as a Tier 2 Scholarship recipient in the 2026 Sport Australia Hall of Fame Scholarship and Mentoring Program.

As the 2025/26 season has wrapped up, we want to take a moment to celebrate someone truly special.

Mason, you arrived from Sydney and instantly became part of the MCC family. An incredible person and an even better bowler, you brought skill, heart, and that infectious smile to the green every single time you stepped up.
You embodied everything this club stands for, and watching you represent the MCC values with such pride has been a genuine honour.

Thank you for the memories, the laughs and the brilliant bowls. We wish you, Natalie, and the little bubs nothing but happiness and success in this next chapter.

The door is always open, mate. We'd love to see you back in the MCC colours one day.
