PRESENTATION NIGHT:
Late last month, we hosted our annual presentation night. Across an enjoyable evening, we handed out awards for each of our Under 13's, Under 16's, A Reserve and A Grade sides, as well as some club awards encompassing on and off field achievements across our club.

PRESENTATION NIGHT:

Just a reminder of our club presentation night this Friday, 20th March.

We'll aim to start Junior Presentations at 5:30, with club awards presented afterwards and dinner served shortly after. Once we've eaten, we'll wrap the night up with our senior presentations.

Looking forward to seeing as many there as possible to help us celebrate the season that was.

GRAND FINAL BOUND:

We would love to wish the best of luck to one of our Under 13's superstars Bonnie Mannix, as she takes the field with her senior side Campbells Creek this Friday night.

A mainstay of our Under 13's program, Bonnie has not only been strutting her stuff for our undefeated cubs, but has also been smashing it for Campbells Creek in their senior women's program, completely at home despite her young age!

Bonnie also tasted representative cricket this season, turning out for the CDCA during the Under 14's Wendy Gray Shield on multiple occasions.

After an outstanding season on both a personal and team-based sense, we hope that you're able to put the cherry on top with a premiership this Friday night Bonnie. We're all behind you here at the Harcourt Cricket Club Bonnie, best of luck!

RESULTS:

We wanted to send a special shout-out to our awesome Under 13 cubs, who managed to go through their entire season undefeated!

Coach Pratty (along with assistant coach Sos and other parent helpers) have really enstilled the fundamentals of cricket into this exciting group, highlighted by a determination to value their wicket while batting, to aim for consistency with the ball and to remember that you are always in the game while fielding (highlighted by a multitude of catches and run outs during the season).

But most importantly, we managed to all get out there each and every week with our mates and enjoy the game of cricket, which is the most important part of the game no matter which age group you belong to!

We will be looking to celebrate our Under 13's amazing efforts at our club presentation night this upcoming Friday night (20th March) at the clubrooms. We encourage all of the players, parents/carers, and supporters to get along to help celebrate our cubs with the rest of the club, as performances like these don't come around too often!

PREMIERSHIP FOR OUR YOUNG STARS:

Congratulations to our two young superstars Koby and Jack, who, along with their teammates at Kangaroo Flat, won the Under 18's flag this morning.

Both lads set the solid foundation for the win on day 1, with Jack coming in at 4 and scoring 30 off 33 deliveries, before Koby came in at 6 and scored 51 off 39.

Day 2 saw both lads involved early, with Koby setting the tone with a run out for the first wicket and Jack taking a sharp catch up to the stumps for the second. Jack was later involved in the second run out of the day, before Koby came on late and took an incredible 1 for 0 off 4 overs to help seal the victory.

We've long known that the two of you boys were champions legends, and you've now got the premiership medallions to go with it. Enjoy the success lads, and congratulations from everyone here at Harcourt!

RESULTS:

In a contest between first and last place, it was always going to be a challenge on Saturday for our A Reserve lads. However, some impressive individual performances from some of our younger lads were a shining light during a tricky encounter.

Our last Saturday of the season saw us take some learnings from the previous weekend and make some improvements, which we can take with us into the off-season as we aim to continue to improve for the 2026/27 season.
