GRIFFITH NAIDOC DEADLY 3X3 Basketball Gala Day is coming this school holidays on Thursday 9th July at Griffith Regional Sports Centre!

In partnership with Griffith Aboriginal Medical Services, this Basketball NSW event is aimed to provide an opportunity for members of the community to try basketball and connect with others in a fun and inclusive day celebrating the meaning of NAIDOC through basketball. Skills sessions for young first timers and a 3x3 basketball tournament for all. All skill levels and abilities are welcome.
Age Groups/Divisions
Skills session for 5-9 year olds
Born 2017/16/15 = U12's
Born 2014 & 2013 = U14's
Born 2012 & 2011 = U16's
Born 2010 & earlier = Opens
You can expect
→ 3X3 Basketball Games
→ Loads of off court activities
→ DJ with music all day
→ Free feed
Everyone is welcome, the event is free but registration is required if you want to get on court and play some basketball.

Looking for a flexible role where you can make a positive contribution to your community? Council is seeking a Casual Griffith Regional Sports Centre Attendant to join the team.

This role involves helping to maintain the Sports Centre in a clean and safe condition, setting up and packing down sporting equipment, and providing a friendly, professional service to all users of the facility.

We're looking for someone who is a strong team player, communicates well, takes pride in their work and enjoys building positive relationships with colleagues and customers. The successful applicant will be available to work a variety of day and evening shifts between 9am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday.

Just a quick heads up that essential maintenance is about to get underway on the stadium courts at the Griffith Regional Sports Centre.

🛠️ When: Friday 29 May to Saturday 6 June 2026 (inclusive)
🏀 What’s affected: Courts 3–7 will be unavailable during this time

We appreciate your patience while these works are carried out to keep the courts in great condition for everyone.
