We hope your day is filled with love, laughter, and maybe even a sleep-in… although we know that’s about as rare as a hole-in-one on your first swing. ⛳️😉

Today we celebrate all the different kinds of mums - mums, grandmas, step mums, fur mums, soon-to-be mums, and the wonderful women who play a motherly role in the lives of others every day.

We hope you’re all thoroughly spoiled today. You deserve it 💕

We’re excited to welcome Sam Hingeley to The Golf Institute as a PGA Teaching Professional, joining us from Heritage Golf & Country Club.

Sam brings extensive coaching and player development experience, and his arrival strengthens our coaching team alongside Brad and Linda.

With a shared approach and philosophy, you can expect a consistent, high-quality experience no matter who you work with.

Sam commences Tuesday 14 May and will be available Tuesday to Friday.

Congrats to Tom Hyland on taking out the Lakeside Junior Open at Albert Park Golf Course with a classy 62 off the stick 💪🏼

Backing it up after his win at Portarlington earlier in the week, a great example of hard work paying off. Tom continues to put in the time using The Golf Institute’s state-of-the-art facilities and world-leading Trackman technology.

Big news at The Golf Institute ⛳️

We’re absolutely wrapped to welcome PGA Professional Linda Mew to the TGI coaching team!

Linda brings extensive experience across juniors, women’s, mixed clinics and one-on-one coaching. A former high-level amateur and now PGA & WPGA professional, she’s coached everyone from pennant teams to junior girls’ camps with Women’s Golf Victoria, all with a big focus on growing the game (and loving it while you’re at it).

The best part? Linda and Brad share the same coaching values, just with different delivery styles. That means more ideas, better collaboration, and even stronger outcomes for our members and students.

📅 Lessons available from Tuesday 6 January 2026
• Tuesday: 9am–12pm & 4pm–7pm
• Wednesday: 9am–4pm
• Thursday: 9am–1pm & 4pm–7pm
• Friday: 9am–3pm

We can’t wait for you to get to know Linda and benefit from her knowledge, passion and calm confidence.
