CONGRATULATIONS goes to Di Shelley who was awarded the Ray Beckley Memorial Trophy on Friday night.

Di is a wonderful team member and the friendly face that has greeted the owners, trainers and drivers for over 25 years at Geelong.

Di is pictured here receiving the award from Geelong HRC General Manager, Joe Fiala and Lauren Salt (Ray Beckley’s Granddaughter).

Well done Di, well deserved. Cheers to the next 25 years! 🎉

Racing at Geelong tonight!

Join us for an exciting seven-race card, with the first race kicking off at 6:33pm.

Tonight’s feature event is the Ray Beckley Memorial, celebrating the legacy of Ray Beckley — President of the Geelong Harness Racing Club from 1969 to 1984 and a key figure in the establishment of the Club’s Beckley Park complex. His outstanding contribution to GHRC and the harness racing community continues to be recognised and honoured.

Make a night of it and enjoy dinner in the Winning Post Dining Room, where you can take in spectacular trackside views while experiencing all the action in comfort and warmth. Or simply drop by for a casual drink and soak up the atmosphere.

Bernies Café will also be open, serving all your favourite takeaway options.

Best of all, entry is FREE! Bring the family, enjoy a great night out, and experience the excitement of harness racing right here in Geelong.

We can’t wait to welcome you to GHRC!

The weather certainly didn’t deter the crowds last night, with a full house at GHRC for the APCO Geelong Pacing Cup and the Evolution Lodge McNamara Memorial Trotting Cup — and they certainly did not disappoint!

It was a fantastic night of racing, with plenty of excitement, atmosphere and action on and off the track. What a night at the races! 👏
