Not only does he WIN a lot of tournaments AND he’s ambidextrous - he can play both AC and GC 🤣 but he also DOES a lot of stuff for the club! That’s Siebe Dekleva and today, the hoops were a little loose, so he’s out with the soil to firm those little suckers! Thank you Siebe for what you do!

A merry band of Belmont members celebrated the Club's Season Opening Day on Saturday, 15/8/26. The club selects a special member each year to officially run the first hoop to open the season and this year it was Denise Deller, a loyal Belmont member for almost 10 years, along with her husband, Ken.

The day's event included a novelty course as well as the normal social play. Members rose to the several challenges with the 'blind' croquet proving the most challenging of all! Sabarina Ward came out on tops with the ‘Bobs’ Game and the 'Hoop' competition was won by our 'rising star' Siebe Dekleva. 💫

The day was capped off by a magnificent luncheon and the awarding of the various prizes. The overall novelty event champion went to Siebe - again (we say with a smile) - but are considering handicapping him severely next year!

👏 A big thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success.
