The old clubhouse/pavilion is now decommissioned and should not be entered for any reason.

Toilets are available in the Community Room next door to FTC from 6:00am to 9:00pm. FTC members should check their emails as instructions have been provided.

Toilets are also available in the pavilion next to the basketball court to the east of FTC. Racquetlab coaches also hold a keycard for the Community Room.

You just have to wrap around through the old ticket box path to access club. 😉

From Tuesday 5 June, our Northern/synthetic courts will no longer be available. But we will have five new ones in September/October! 🤗

The Sod Turning event that everyone has been waiting for, marking the commencement of Brunswick Street Oval Project works!! 🤩Thanking Victorian Minister for Community Sport, Ros Spence, Deputy Mayor of Yarra, Sharon Harrison, Ward Councillor, Ken Gomez and all those in our sporting community who attended, most especially our young folk!!!

An update for our members! Likely that the asbestos will be removed from club on Wednesday/Thursday and all courts will be closed at this time. We’ll send you a cancellation notice if need be😉 Northern court work expected to start Thurs! Monday night comp can play still. Toilets are still open until further notice. A few of us recently attended the Sod Turning event! Wow! Lots of our young folk there 🤗Pics to follow!

Some updates for our members! You now access via a padlock and the code has been provided in the last member email update😉 Court lights are on a timer now, cutting off at 11pm week nights and 9pm weekends. Essentials such as first aid, fire extinguisher and defibrillator are accessed from coach shed. Club house is officially cleared of any asbestos contamination. Yay! 🎾

We farewell our Treasurer, Carly Crowe who commenced on the FTC committee in 2022. We can’t thank Carly enough, for her first rate fiscal stewardship and her invaluable contribution in getting us ‘redevelopment ready’. Raewyn has pretty much packed up our clubhouse ready for the honour boards to come down later this week and all gear to be stored offsite during the renos. The clubhouse will be closed for a spell - we’ll keep you updated as to how long. Thanks to Brenda and Cheryl also. We hope that they haven’t been boxed up too?! 😳😇😇😇

The Brunswick Street Oval redevelopment is now underway. By this time next year FTC will be able to offer 5 new synthetic clay courts, 3 renovated clay courts, new LED lighting and a modernised and fully accessible clubhouse and change-rooms.

Access to courts is heavily restricted during construction and unfortunately, court bookings will only be available to club members until further notice.

We look forward to welcoming non-members back to a bigger and better FTC very soon. 🎾
