Following many successful years playing under the umbrella of the Eugene Gorman Opportunity Youth Club, established in the mid
1950’s in the Prahran and Southern Districts Cricket Association, the Richmond City Cricket Club was accepted into the Turf Section of
the Eastern Suburbs Cricket Association in 1976. Since the inception of these two teams, the club has grown to a cohort of over 100 player

s and supporters. Our rate of success since
joining the ESCA (now known as the Eastern Cricket Association), is unparalleled, boasting 20 Senior and 9 Junior Premierships. We are very proud of our history which is ever strengthened by the growing group of cross-generational family members playing at
Richmond City.
