It feels like a really long road this time around & after 9 months post-partum, the body is finally starting to adapt ππͺ
I haven't posted as much progress as I would like, but in all honesty, until recently there hasn't been too much to report, not for lack of trying, more that my body has just been super stubborn this time around so I've had to back myself, trust the process & keep showing up.
A combination of having my second bubba at 41, those changing hormones & a lot more excess weight gained from my second pregnancy, has all contributed to being a longer road but change is possible if you are patient π π
I still have a way to go but this video is so encouraging. I've never carried this much weight in my entire life so this post-partum journey has been super humbling and although I would have loved to snap back into shape like my first pregnancy, I am also very grateful for it. I hope it encourages other post-partum mums out there to keep chipping away as it will happen, it just takes time & if you are breastfeeding or dealing with ab separation or other pelvic floor issues (yes to all of the above for me lol), you can't just go in & hammer yourself without repercussions. Be kind, gentle & do it right...your body will thank you in the years to come!
On a side note as I seem to getting on my Coaching pedestal again π...I've had a few ask about my Accountability Groups & YES I will definitely be reopening my Coaching books in the new year but for now I am full time with bubba & gym business for the remainder of 2023...I have sooooo missed my Coaching so I am really looking forward to it! I'll be back with so much passion after this journey
