What a day for Southern Stars Netball Club! ⭐️

A huge congratulations to every single one of our teams who took the court in the Semi Finals today. 🏐👏🏼

To the teams who are moving on and to those whose season came to an end today — you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. Finals netball brings pressure, nerves, emotions and some of the toughest games of the season, but every player stepped out there and gave it everything they had. ❤️

We are so proud of the determination, courage, teamwork and heart you have shown throughout this season. Remember, your success isn’t only measured by the scoreboard — it’s measured by how far you’ve come, the friendships you’ve made, the challenges you’ve overcome and the memories you’ve created along the way. 🥹💙

While quarter finals have only just begun for some of our teams, this week is a BIG one for our Comets and Starburzt, who are both taking the court for their first round of quarter finals! 🏆✨

💫 COMETS — 12:30pm | Court 4
💫 STARBURZT — 4:15pm | Court 8

To both teams, we want to wish you the BIGGEST good luck! 💙 This is the moment you’ve worked so hard for — all the training, the challenges, the wins, the losses and the growth have led you here.

🏐💙 Ever wondered what a day in the life of a netball coach at a carnival really looks like? 👀✨

Well, come along with Coach Naje and her Comets for a little “day in the life of a coach”! ☀️🏐

From the early morning starts, setting up, checking in with the girls, game plans, pep talks, sideline cheering, celebrating the little wins, wiping away the tears and reminding them just how proud we are — there’s so much more to coaching than what happens on the court. 🥹💛

It’s watching your players grow, seeing their confidence shine through, teaching them to believe in themselves and being there through the good games, the tough games and everything in between.

The scores and results are great, but the real reward is watching these girls build friendships, grow in confidence, learn to work together and create memories they’ll carry with them long after the final whistle. 💙💛

So grab your imaginary coach clipboard, put on your comfiest shoes and come spend carnival day with Coach Naje and her Comets! 😂🏐✨

Because behind every team is a coach who is cheering just as loudly, caring just as deeply and probably running on about three hours of sleep and caffeine! ☕️😂

🌉💙 THAT’S WHAT TEAMWORK IS ALL ABOUT! 💛🏐

There’s something pretty special about watching our teams come together — not just to play their own games, but to support, encourage and celebrate each other. 🥹💙

Today, our teams created a little bridge of teammates for the playing team to run through as they took to the court, cheering them on every step of the way! 🙌🏽✨

Because being part of a club is about so much more than what happens between the four lines. It’s about showing up for each other, celebrating each other’s wins, lifting each other up and creating memories together. 💛

Win, lose or draw, you’ll always have your teammates standing beside you — and sometimes, literally creating a bridge to run through! 😂🌉

This is what family looks like. This is what our club is all about. 💙💛

What a Sunday! 💙💛 We had three of our teams take to the courts at UPNA today, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single player who stepped out there and gave it their all! 👏🏽🏐

🏆 Massive congratulations to Luna Legends on finishing RUNNERS-UP! 🥈 What an incredible effort from the whole team! 🌙✨

And to everyone who competed today — well done! Whether you walked away with a medal, a win, a loss, or simply a whole bunch of new memories, you should be proud of yourselves. 💙

Because as we always say, carnivals are about so much more than winning games. They’re about team bonding, building confidence, cheering each other on, creating those memories that you’ll look back on, and enjoying the game you love with your teammates. 🥰

And let’s not forget — carnivals are the perfect chance to put everything you’ve been working on at training into practice, try new things, learn from every game and sharpen those skills ready for your Saturday competition! 🔥

A massive congratulations to our Astros team for finishing Runners-Up today. 🌟 Every game was a reflection of your determination, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship. You gave it your all from the first whistle to the last, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way you represented Southern Stars.

While the trophy may have just slipped away, the growth, friendships, and memories made today are worth so much more. Carnivals aren’t just about the results—they’re about supporting one another, building confidence, and creating moments you’ll remember long after the final game.
