Rough day on the green for Coota Ex Services
Grade 4 lost to Young 75-48 losing to 10-0 on points and stuck in 4th
Grade 5 lost to Boorowa Ex 10-0 on points and 56-42 on shots. Coota sits 1 point behind Boorowa in 2nd
Grade 6 had a 9-1 win to keep their hopes alive sitting 2nd, 10 points behind Young, their next opponents.
Grade 7 put up a fight to go down 9-1 with overall scores 78-48

Maestro’s Final for 2024
A huge thank you to Stockinbingal And Manildra group for their continued sponsorship of this event. Thank you to all players who participated, markers each night, our Match Committee and Committee, as well as Di and Lynn for organizing snacks on final night.
In our Majors,
Damien Miller played Gil Kelly for 1st and 2nd. After an early fight from Gil to be down 5-6, it was the consistency of Damien Miller that went on to win 25-9.
Playoff for 3rd was Mick Barber against Billy Manwarring. In a game that didn’t go the distance, it was Mick who ended up as our 3rd place winner in the Major division.
In our Minors,
Neil Blackett and Mark Patersonfought it out for 1st. A tight game early on half scores at 10 all. Mark then slipped away to lead 19-10 before a fight back from Neil saw scores at 20 all. A couple 2’s had Mark at 24-20 before Neil finished with 1, 1, 3 to win 25-24.
Carey Peters and Steve Walsh had the Minors battle for 3rd and 4th. An Early lead to Carey of 9-2 was closed to 9-6 by Steve. Carey then got his eye in to dominate the scoring, going in to win 25-14

Maestro’s Thursday 29.2.24
4 players battled it out in the Majors semi finals to book their spot in the playoffs.
A tight game between Mick Barber and Damien Miller saw scores at 12 all followed by 18-14 to Damien. Damien was the stronger finisher with final score 25-15 to Damien.
Our other game saw 2 Coota players in Gil Kelly and Billy Manwarring go toe to toe. Gil jumped to an early lead of 12-2 and continued his progress to 23-13 before a late couple of 3’s left the score 25-19 to Gil.

Club Minor Singles Final

Phil Agar 10 - Scott Wilkinson 25

After an early tussle of 3-4 after 5 ends, Scott gained momentum to push out to an 18-4 lead over Phil. Phil picked up a 3 but couldn’t hold Scott out with Scott going on to win 25-10
