✨WE’RE A FINALIST!✨

There are moments in business where you stop, take a breath, and realise just how far something that started as a little dream has come.

We are incredibly proud to share that Dance with Miss Em has been named a finalist in the 2026 Riverina Murray Business Awards in Excellence in Micro Business (5 employees and under). ❤️

And to know that we are one of just 8 businesses selected as finalists across the entire Riverina Murray region is something we are genuinely humbled by.

Dance with Miss Em started from a dream to create a place where children could dance, grow, belong and simply be themselves. What began as a small idea has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined — a beautiful community of dancers, families, teachers and supporters across Harden and Cootamundra.

Every class, every performance, every little dancer who walks through our doors, every staff member who pours their heart into our studio and every family who chooses to trust us with their children is part of this journey.

This recognition isn't just about a business.

It's about our people.
It's about the children who fill our studios with laughter.
It's about the families who support us year after year.
It's about our incredible teaching team.
It's about the community that has backed us from the very beginning.
And it's about a dream that keeps growing.

From being recognised at the Cootamundra-Gundagai Business Awards to now becoming a finalist at the Riverina Murray Business Awards, we are feeling incredibly grateful — and honestly, a little emotional — to see how far Dance with Miss Em has come. 🥹❤️

We are incredibly honoured and excited to share that Dance with Miss Em has been awarded the Excellence in Business Award at the Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council Business Awards!

This recognition means so much to us, not only as a business, but as a dance family that has grown, supported one another, and achieved so much together over the past few years.

When Dance with Miss Em was established, the goal was simple: to create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child could experience the joy of dance, build confidence, and feel a sense of belonging. To see that vision recognised with this award is truly humbling.

Over the past year, we have been proud to:
✨ Continue providing quality dance education across our local communities.
✨ Expand our programs to offer more opportunities for dancers of all ages and abilities.
✨ Support students in achieving personal goals through performances, examinations, and community events.
✨ Create strong partnerships within our local community and contribute to local events and fundraising initiatives.
✨ Foster a studio culture that focuses on confidence, friendship, personal growth, and a lifelong love of dance.

This award would not have been possible without our amazing students, families, staff, volunteers, and supporters. Every class attended, every costume sewn, every performance cheered on, every fundraiser supported, and every encouraging word has helped shape Dance with Miss Em into what it is today.
