Rest in peace Hanshi Keven Blundell ❤️🙏

Hanshi Kevin Blundell passed peacefully in his sleep early this morning surrounded by love. ❤️

We thank Hanshi for everything he has done to help change all of our lives for the better through Martial Arts and Kumiai Ryu.

His guidance and the positive impact he’s had on so many people will always be remembered. 🙏🏻

What a massive weekend for Kumiai Ryu Cootamundra Dojo

We started on Saturday morning with Kohai Patrick William competing in the Kumiai-ryu National Championship, Patrick competed well throughout the morning, coming home with a second and third place in the Kata and point sparing events.

We then moved to Saturday night with Nakmuay Kenneth Stanyer competing on the Mayhem fight series Muay Thai event.
Ken showed massive heart, pushed the pace showing a massive improvement from his first fight, against a high level opponent.
Unfortunately we didn't get the win, and after going the distance in a very hard fight, losing in a very very close split decision.

We would like to thank everyone that came to support both Ken and Patrick in person and to those watching the Mayhem live stream back home.

We would also like to thank the teams from Kumiai-ryu Port Macquarie and Kumiai-ryu High Impact Orange, the comradery and support you showed us is a credit to you all, it's a true representation of what is means to be apart of Kumiai-ryu Martial Arts.
