RMF is off! ✈️

I’ll be away for a couple weeks celebrating a wedding in Greece 💍👰🏻☀️

I’ll be returning the week of the 29th and pending jet lag will be back to work the same week 🤩

All online coaching will be proceeding as normal, your coach will just be checking in poolside 🤪☀️🥂

All other coaching inquiries and consultations I will try and get to ASAP or organise when I get home 🙌🏻

I’ll miss everyone SM!! If you want to see way too many photos of Greece than you want to you can keep up

Had the absolute PLEASURE of working with over the last few months!

Working mainly online and sprinkling in some sessions to work on form and technique we’ve seen her performance, strength and overall commitment to training flourish 🤩

Gabby shows it’s not about a complete overhaul or anything dramatic, it’s small mindful changes and tweaks where needed and commitment to your training that makes a big difference 🙌🏻

Not only has she come a long way in all aspects of training she could also definitely beat me in a pull-up contest 😂👀

Feeling you step downs in your Quads?

The quick cheat sheet to help remember is:

Step downs = More glutes

Step ups = more quads

These are near identical movement patterns so it’s super easy to confuse the two!

Essentially think step ups we start from the floor and drive up using our quads as the main movers

Step downs we want to start on the top of the box, push our hips down and back, not letting the back foot plant while we keep a point 🩰and keeping the emphasis on the glutes throughout the movement 🙌🏻

Who cares what the goal is, who cares how far away it may seem or how much of a learning curve you may have to go through. You will never achieve anything if you don’t start, if you don’t take that first step.

The one common denominator every single client I have ever had shares is the fact they started. They wanted to make positive changes and they put themselves in positions to do so.

None of them started out perfectly, each journey comes with struggles and challenges but there is no journey at all without a goal, a day 1, a first workout.

Whatever it is you want to achieve, make one actionable step today towards that goal TODAY. Then another tomorrow and another the day after that.

Momentum and consistency are the only tools you need to get things moving.

April is already here, don’t wait till January to regret the work you didn’t do today.
