Congratulations to Zak La Motte for taking out the club MVP award for 2025-26. Zak finished the season with 18 wickets with a best of 6-30 and contributed 163 runs with the bat. His fielding was excellent with 9 catches. Well done Zak!

The Capel Cricket Club Christmas Party will run from 5-7pm this Friday (12 December) following the conclusion of the Blasters Program. Please spread the word and if you can make it please get down to the oval. Rumour has it that there will be a slip and slide for the kids and that Santa may be making a guest appearance! Tough Saturday for our men's senior sides against Leschenault over the weekend.

Playing at home our 4th Grade side were dismissed for 80 with only Cam Allan (18) and Quinton Ostigh (24) making double figures. In reply Leschenault lost 2 early wickets courtesy of Cam Payne, but then cruised home in the 20th over for the loss of just 3 wickets.

Playing away, our 2nd Grade side also batted first and were dismissed for 126 with only Zak La Motte (45) and Shane Miles (25) getting starts. In reply Leschenault reached the target just 4 down in the 28th over. On a positive note, our D Grade captain and club president, Nick Patten, is sitting well clear at the top of the Association wicket taking ladder!

Next Saturday sees both sides playing against Dalyellup, with our 2nd Grade side at home, and our 4th Grade side playing away.

In the Year 6 game against Marist the side were excited to play on a turf wicket and made 80 batting first. Rhys, Finley and Jack all batted well. Wylie and Isaac then bowled well, and a special mention to Parker who was left on a hat trick for next week.

Two good wins to our senior sides over the weekend, both against Collie Cricket Club, and a close loss for our Year 6 team.

In Year 6 our side posted 85 with Jack Douglas hitting a 6 in his score of 18, and Grace Patten and Finley Ollerenshaw both batting well. Leschenault scored 97, with James Holland taking his first wicket, and Jack both bowling well and snaring a catch.

In D Grade our side batted first putting up 105 on a tricky Collie wicket with Cam Allen (25), Nick Patten (23) and James Keane (21) providing the bulk of the runs. In reply Collie were all out for just 70 with Cam Payne (5-29), Nick Patten (3-6) and Cody Gordon (2-30) sharing the wickets.

In B Grade our side were put in to bat at home and battled through to 147 all out in the 49th over with Dennis Tucker (35) and Zak Lamotte (40) the leading contributors. In reply, Collie were dismissed in the 36th over, with Zak Lamotte (4-19), Adrian Abbott (2-29) and Todd Earle (3-25) and Ben Niclair (1-4) doing the damage. Todd's 3 wickets see him now sitting one clear of the pack in the Association B Grade rankings.

Call us crazy 🤪 but we decided to mix it up a bit as we enter the silly season and add WEEKEND TRADING to our already insane schedule!!
⭐️ ⭐️ STARTING THIS WEEKEND!! ⭐️ ⭐️

We figured ALOT of our travelling customers don’t have much opportunity to visit us during our regular trading hours, so why not give them the chance to shop our amazing range on their way past!
This not only benefits our travellers but also our locals, giving you all more time to savour our meats 🤤
Up until Christmas we will be open every Saturday & Sunday from 9am until 4pm!!! 🤯
We will however be closed Mondays (excluding the week of Christmas).

We are aware we STILL haven’t released our Christmas price list, we promise you it will be done over this weekend. We’ve been a little under the weather and need to be 100% certain we are publishing the right pricing. Thankyou for your patience 😌 and stay tuned for the release 👀

A win and a loss for our senior sides this weekend, and a close loss for our Year 6 team.

Our B grade side batted first and (finally) got our act together with the bat, scoring 278 off our 50 overs. Joe Ollerenshaw (73), Murray Tennent-Brown (123) and Shane Miles (3) provided the bulk of the runs. In reply Hay Park were all out for 171 in the 44th over, with Adrian Abbott picking up 3 wickets and Kody Montgomery and Todd Earle 2 each.

Our D grade side fielded first with Bunbury Eagles putting up 220 off their 40 overs. Wickets were shared around, with Logan Whitwell and Fritz Shoultz picking up 2 each. In reply our side were dismissed for 113 in the 29th over, with Cam Allen (24) and Quinton Ostigh (22) the best of the batters.

Our Year 6 team lost by just 6 runs in a close game with Colts.

Next weekend sees our B grade side at home against Harvey, our D grade side away against Harvey, and our year 6 side away against Donnybrook.
