You’re blocking, tackling, sprinting, scoring — then heading home to do homework, dinner, bedtime, and repeat.

You show your kids and this whole team what a strong woman looks like: tough in the contest, first to check if someone’s okay, and always leading from the front.

Beginning in 2014, Female Football Week (FFW) is an annual initiative aimed at elevating women and girls and their contribution to football across all aspects of the game. It celebrates the growth in women’s football in partnership with the grassroots community.

Through Our Game and we aim to harness the power of football to build an inclusive and diverse game that embraces, positively influences, celebrates, and elevates women and girls, to own and drive the future of women’s football.

At Capel Wolves, we are proud to support and grow the female game within our community. Our club is built on inclusion, opportunity, development, and creating a welcoming environment where players of all ages and abilities can feel supported both on and off the pitch. From juniors through to seniors, we are committed to empowering women and girls to be part of the game as players, coaches, volunteers, referees, and leaders.

Together, we continue to grow the game and inspire the next generation of Wolves. ⚽🐺💚

We may have bowed out of the Horizon Cup but we didn't go down without a fight!
Thank you to Geographe Bay Football Club for coming out to our first game under lights in Capel in almost 10 years! (and what a crowd!)
We were able to take a lot away from this game as it was our first encounter with a team outside of our division. All the best for your Semi Final!
