⚽️ BACK AT IT… SORT OF! 😂💚🐺

A few weeks off and suddenly it looks like we’ve never played before! 🤣

The boots are back on, the legs are warming up (eventually), and we’re ready for the Scallan Cup! 💪⚽️

Let’s just say there’s a little rust to shake off before game day… 😂 But we’re back together, having a laugh and ready to get out there for a great cause! 💚

Scallan Cup, we’re coming for you… just wish we had a few more training sessions first! 🤣🐺

🐺💚 MORE THAN FOOTBALL. THIS IS THE WOLF PACK SPIRIT.

This weekend, some of our Capel Wolves will be pulling on their boots for the Scallan Cup 2026 — a football tournament with a purpose far bigger than the game itself. ⚽🏆

Since 2020, the Scallan Cup has brought the community together through football, raising funds for the St Vincent de Paul Society Bunbury Christmas Appeal to help put food on the table for individuals and families doing it tough.

We're proud to see our Wolves getting involved, supporting a great cause and representing the spirit of community that makes our club what it is.

Good luck to everyone taking part this weekend! Play hard, enjoy every minute and, most importantly, play for something bigger than the game. 💚

One pack. One community. One purpose.

🐺 Wolves in the wild - Kulin Bush Races 🐺

Apparently football season isn’t enough to keep our Wolves busy… so a few of the Pack (and extended pack) headed off to the Kulin Bush Races to get amongst the action!
🏇🍻🌾

Trading football boots for volunteer duties, they got stuck in, lent a hand and had a bloody good time while they were at it! 😂🙌

From the pitch to the bush — the Pack gets around it. 💚

Huge thanks to our Wolves for giving up their time and representing the club out in the community.

🐺THANK YOU TO BENDIGO BANK🐺

We are absolutely thrilled to share some fantastic news with our community! 🎉

The Capel Wolves had the incredible opportunity to present at the 2026 Capel Community Pitch Night. Thanks to the generous support of Community Bank Capel , we walked away with a massive $2,500 in funding to support our group, plus we were lucky enough to win a few additional prizes throughout the night! 🏆✨

This funding will go a long way in supporting our club. We want to extend a sincere thank you to the Community Investment Fund committee, and everyone at Bendigo Bank for their incredible ongoing commitment to local, non-profit community groups.

Congratulations to all the other local groups who pitched and received funding as well! It was an inspiring evening showing just how vibrant our Shire of Capel community really is. 💚

💚 FROM US TO YOU… THANK YOU. 💚

As our season comes to an end, we’ve been thinking about just how lucky we are to have such an amazing community behind us.
To everyone who stood on the sidelines and cheered, celebrated the wins, encouraged us through the tough moments, supported our quiz night, bought a raffle ticket, shared our posts or simply asked how the season was going — thank you. 🥹💚

You might not realise it, but every bit of support means something to us.Football is about so much more than what happens for 90 minutes on the pitch. It’s the people who show up, the laughs we share, the friendships we make and the community that comes together week after week. And we’re incredibly grateful that you’re part of ours.
Thank you for believing in us, backing us and being there throughout the season.
We’ve loved having you along for the ride. 🫶

And while the season might be over, the Wolves aren’t going anywhere! 🐺💚

👉 Make sure you’re following our page and keep an eye on our socials for off-season news, upcoming events and everything happening as we gear up for next season.Stay connected. Keep supporting. And we’ll see you back on the sidelines in 2027! ⚽️🙌

From all of us at the Capel Wolves — thank you, Capel. We couldn’t do it without you. 💚

💚🐺 HEART OF THE PACK 🐺💚

This week's Heart of the Pack goes to one of our longer serving members of the Capel Wolves community.

Kat pulled on the boots again this year and showed that even though her play style has changed, her hunger for the game is still as strong as ever!
Holding the wing position against much faster opposition she put it all on the line today disrupting wide play, dazzling everyone with her footwork, distributing play well and even banged home a composed worldie of a long range goal to drive home our 3-1 win to round out the season.

Although her name may sound like the feline variety she has the heart of a wolf.
Well done Kat!

🦞 Fresh. Local. Premium.
🌿 A great South West experience.
🙌 Support local and taste the difference!

Thanks to Capel Marron Farm for helping us celebrate our Heart of the Pack players every week!
