The Avengers DXB ACT Rockets claimed their fourth-straight Aus Indoor Cricket National Title on Saturday at Casey Stadium.
The win puts this Rockets team alongside Queensland (1999-2002) as the only team to win four-consecutive Open Men’s titles. Only NSW Women (1992-97) and QLD Lightning (2017-24) have a longer streak at the top level (6-straight apiece).
The win also puts the ACT into 2nd all-time for total Open Men’s titles, with 7 titles, all in the past 10 tournaments, surpassing NSW and WA (six each).
An incredible accomplishment, from a foundation built by decades of dedication from players, coaches, administrators, corporate partners, centre owners and staff, Superleague/CIPL players and umpires, and the families and supporters of everyone involved.
