One of my clients brings her beautiful 7-year-old daughter along to her sessions and honestly… it’s the best thing ever. 🥹❤️
This little legend joins in with squats, sit-ups, lunges and so much more, and it’s such a reminder of how powerful it is for our kids to see us moving our bodies, showing up for ourselves and having fun with exercise.
Today during our boxing session, little Miss S decided she wanted to write down the full workout as we went along 😂🥊
We did 4 rounds, she jumped in for 2 of them… and let me tell you, the kid can BOX!!
What you see here is a daughter cheering on her mum while mum absolutely kicked ass. We counted every round down together and by the end… I think mum was VERY happy to hear “last round!” 🥵😂
And honestly… her workout notes might be my favourite thing ever.
What she wrote vs what she meant:
• “20 croseS” = 20 crosses
• “5 sqot jumps” = 5 squat jumps
• “wall sit 25 secens” = Wall sit for 25 seconds
• “uper cuts” = Uppercuts
• “lung 5 secens” = Lunges for 5 seconds
• “Monterclimes” = Mountain climbers
• “hic neys” = High knees
• “hoks” = Hooks
• “crunch punch” = Crunch punches
Honestly… iconic 😂👏
I taught my own son (now 26) that exercise could be fun, empowering and part of everyday life… and watching this feels like I get to experience that all over again. ❤️
We never really know who is watching us. Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do isn’t just for ourselves… it’s for the little eyes learning from us every single day.
