**JUNE SOCIAL LEAGUE DAY RECAP**

Thanks to the 19 players who joined is in the slop for this months league day. After a wet week and pretty decent rain overnight, the course was a mud pit but the players were unfazed and got into a ripping morning throwing discs. Even a few rainbows on the course with the on-and-off showers 🌈

Best round of the day with a 2-shot improvement on his league day PB was Jack finishing 4 under with 8 birdies! Also under par was Eamesey and Isaac. Isaac also knocking 1-shot off his league day PB. Great shooting gents 🔥🔥

Best handicap score went to one of our new regulars Abigail who improved on her PB by 17 shots! Congrats and some fresh plastic for the win 🏆🥏

**MAY SOCIAL LEAGUE DAY RECAP**

Absolutely cracking day for throwing discs last Saturday at Meridan and huge thanks to the 25 players who joined us. The big news of the day was Lachie hitting an ACE on hole 7 to clean up the $36 ace pot. We have now had 2 hole-in-ones this year at league day so it’s always worth chucking because you have to be in it to win it 🥇

Some great rounds recorded with Lachie and Jack both finishing at -2 and it was Jack snagging the playoff win after a few extra holes for the crowd! Eamesy and Mic also under par finishing -1 as well as Josh and Isaac finishing even par 😎

The handicap adjusted round winner was Josh who knocked 3 shots of his Meridan league day PB finishing even par. Great work mate 👏

Congrats to Lachie Grindrod for the ACE on hole 7 at last Saturday’s league day! Backhand line around the tree, down the gully and skip off the drain! Pity the ace pot got cleaned out the other month but still snagged enough for a few celebratory frothy ones! Awesome work mate 👏🎉🥇

APRIL LEAGUE DAY RECAP 😎

Thanks to the 21 players who joined us for our April league day last Saturday at Meridan. The weather was perfect for throwing discs and we had a great crowd of locals, a few up from Brisbane and a couple of new faces logging some of their first Metrix rounds.

Best score of the day was local legend Ryan J posting a very impressive -9 with just the single blemish on the card. Also under par was Fin (-4), Brandon (-3), Lachy (-2) and Mic (-2). Great shooting gents 🔥🔥

The handicap adjusted winner well ahead of the field was local junior Fin who finished 4 under with only 1 bogey on the card and improved on his Meridan league day PB by 2 shots. Amazing work mate and congrats on the new PB 👏

Thanks to the 10 players who joined us for our monthly league day at Meridan on Saturday. The wind was up but the rain held off for the morning and only the usual spots were a bit wet so overall not too bad for throwing discs 🌦️

Best round of the day went to RJ finishing with a very tidy -3 and 4 birdies. Also under par was Adam -1 and finishing even for the round was Finley with just the one blemish on hole 18 😎

The handicap adjusted round winner was Peter L who scored a prize disc for his Meridan PB +7 beating his previous best by 1 shot. Great work mate 🤝🥏

We will be back at Meridan next month for our usual second Saturday league day and keep tuned for more local league days on the coast. Until then- stay stoked legends 🤙
